“We visited Sen Yai Noodles for lunch on a hot day, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The restaurant is small, clean, and very inviting, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent—our waiter answered our questions and offered helpful recommendations.
The menu has a good variety of dishes, and I especially appreciated that it included pictures of everything, which made choosing easier. The portions are large. I ordered the Unadon, which came with a complimentary Thai iced tea. The dish was delicious and looked fabulous. The Thai iced tea was refreshing and perfect for the hot day.“

“We’ve been coming here for close to 4 years. I used to live down the street but now make the 35 minute commute from Ashland just to get the food here.

The chicken pad Thai, seafood drunken noodles, red curry, and so many things are UNMATCHED. The service is always quick and extremely friendly.

“Little Spoon is a Thai restaurant tucked into a corner of Main Street in Needham with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle into for a relaxed dinner. The space has a cute, unique quality to it and the menu covers a wide range of Thai dishes including ramen, curries, noodles, and rice dishes, which gives a table with different preferences plenty of directions to go.

The pad see ew and basil fried rice are both solid orders that cover familiar ground competently. The noodles on the pad see ew have decent wok character and the basil fried rice is well seasoned and aromatic, though neither dish pushed beyond what you would expect from a good neighborhood Thai spot. The mango sticky rice is a satisfying finish and the sticky rice texture is on point, though the mango itself can vary depending on the season. The Thai tea is well made and a natural complement to the spicier dishes on the table.

Across everything we ordered the food was consistently good without being particularly memorable, landing in that comfortable range where you leave satisfied but not necessarily thinking about it the next day. For a weeknight dinner close to home it works well and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. The menu is large enough that there is probably a higher ceiling to explore on return visits with some of the more distinctive options like the khao soi, tamarind wings, or crispy duck.

Service and pickup accuracy have been inconsistent based on different visits, so dining in tends to produce a smoother experience than ordering out. As a neighborhood Thai option in Needham it fills the gap well enough.“

“The food is authentic and so flavorful. I come here on a weekly basis for lunch and absolutely love it so much. I typically get the Tom Yom Appetizer soup with chicken and rice noodles. Ive also had the green and yellow chicken curry options and every time I wipe the plate clean!

“Food is very flavorful! Truly a hole in the wall and found it by chance cause we didn't want to eat inside Natick Mall.
The tom yum was flavorful with a kick, it's on the sweet side which I like. The curry with the duck is very tasty. No fancy decoration or table setting. Nice staff and good tasting Thai food, no BS! 👍“

Our first time in; We dined in on a Wednesday and was instantly greeted and sat to a table with a menu. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and feels like I’m going to a family’s house for a wholesome home cooked meal. (And a great music playlist might I add)
We ordered quite a bit, thai rolls, chicken pho, lomein, pork fried rice! Everything came out quickly while still being hot, rich in flavor and overall better than most if not all similar restaurants in the Boston area.

“So I noticed that Newton has a restaurant called Coconut Cafe, and I thought it would be funny to get a picture of a Lime Bike inside the front door, because “you put the Lime in the Coconut” and all that, so I went over there today, and the place turns out to be pretty nice and I was already feeling like this wouldn’t be a particularly polite (or funny) joke, but anyway the closest Lime Bike I could find was about a block away, and when I tried picking it up to bring it over to Coconut Cafe to maybe get a “put the lime *by* the coconut” photo instead, the bike started talking to me, saying “PLEASE PAY ME A DOLLAR AND YOU CAN RIDE ME! PLEASE PUT ME DOWN OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE! THIS IS YOUR SECOND WARNING, I AM ABOUT TO CALL THE POLICE.” and I decided that this stupid joke wasn’t worth getting arrested for and at that point I was too annoyed to pay the dollar to unlock the bike to ride it a grand total of about 30 feet for a joke photo that the owner of the shop would justifiably get mad at me for anyway, so I left the bike there and just had lunch instead (Bangkok-style veggie pad thai, they told me it would take 15 minutes but then it was ready in about 1.5 minutes, so that was nice) and it was delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve had a truly great Vietnamese meal. I usually get banh mi in Malden, but they never feel like a full sandwich, and my favorite pho place that I loved for years closed.
