This summer I fell in love with Blue Willow. The cold brew, the scones (omg give me the recipe so I can make it thru the winter), the breakfast sandwiches. I love it all. BW became my favorite morning tradition.
Pro tip: order online if you're on the go. Consistently ready within ten minute quoted time.
If there was one suggestion for BW: create some law and order in the narrow counter space. It is not intuitive for out of town visitors to file in/out/order.

A little off of the trail and road. Small and a bit tiny if crowded, but good bakery! Good apple cinnamon donuts!

Stopped in for a quick brunch. The avocado toast with egg and goat cheese is FANTASTIC. The pastries are also super-delicious. Cap that off with very friendly service and we’ve found a spot we’ll definitely be enjoying again.

We had a mocha, chai, an iced americano, Italian soda and an iced mocha. Very good and cute selection of pastries. Loved my Clementine Soda.
We couldn’t find anywhere that sells Cape Cod chips near the light house and they have them here and it’s only a 12 minute drive from there. Their umbrellas here are good and strong but there’s also a structure as well with more picnic tables.
Good spot to come with dogs because they have a large covered patio in the lot (and everyone who saw our dogs were thrilled and happy to see them)
The chai mix here is the powdered kind that most places serve around here but it was fine and ready fast. (Definitely better than some house made ones - the mix kind is easier to keep consistent)
We came 30 minutes prior to closing and a lot of people came in for take away in that time but no one else “dined in” outside with us.

Having houseguests in Wellfleet this summer? Here's a tip: a perfect dessert is to get a whole pie from the Blue Willow! They are delicious and will definitely impress your guests! Bari's crust is stunning and competes well with the crusts my grandmother used to make. We ordered our first blueberry pie last Thanksgiving after we saw an ad in the Independent. We often call and order ahead, but have been happy to take what's available from the back on the spot. We've since scored apple, peach, and strawberry-rhubarb. It's been a busy summer!

We got the ham and cheese croissant and the ham Broccoli gouda quiche and I swear I have never had anything better in my life. Even after getting full I couldn't stop myself from taking more and more bites!

Its a very small building and seasonal local business run by super kind people . The food is great . the bad reviews about service are from the height of summer when all business’s simply cannot handle the huge influx of people in wellfleet. This is a great establishment . If you plan on going plan to wait a bit from july 4th -Labor day . you made it to wellfleet chill out the beach isnt going anywhere . its just a sandwich everything is going to be ok .

Quick service. Their decaf iced lattes are delicious and they have dairy free and sugar free options.
Egg sandwiches are delicious.
If you like scones, get one. If you don’t, still get one. They crispy on the outside, fluffy and moist on the inside. Best blueberry & ricotta scone I’ve ever had!

I love this women-run place and make a point of having at least one meal there every visit to the Cape. Only carp is the cost: $17 for a smoked salmon bagel is expensive.

Lovely quiet, clean our door seating for delicious coffee and pastries. I love PB (up the street), but it just takes too long to order something.
Blue Willow is a wonderful and delicious alternative...super friendly and great pastries.
