“Went here for some snacks during my visit. Not a huge selection on the baked goods but good enough variety that it didn't bother me. I went here because it was a gluten free option and I need that for my allergies. I had a red velet cupcake, and a sweet heavy cake plus a fruity pebbles rice crispy treat my husband had a cookie but he didn't care for it but I loved everything I had! He did loved my fruity pebbles treat! It looks so clean in here and the service was nice the guy at the register was fast and pleasent! I highly recommend you stop here if you need gluten free treats!

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “Temple of German Food I like the sausage chapel. Just had the store made Bauerwurst for dinner and they were a delight. Range of German deli is excellent. Bake goods. A good source for European candy and treats. Covid.took away very nice cafe but the important thing is they were able to keep the store open. Personnel always knowledgable and helpful. Always a pleasure to shop there“

“We had dinner reservations at 6:45 and arrived early. Sat at the bar for a drink and decided to stay there. The bartenders were great !! My martini was to die for. Corey did an excellent job making it. Dinner was delicious. I had the lobster risotto and my partner had a filet. We also had salads and the bread was amazing. We will definitely be back.“

“yes but odd experience. Just ordered a pizza from panini pizza downtown Danvers n typically it's very good n fast but today it took over an hour which is fine but pizza arrived cold, not warm but cold. So no problem I called and the same kid answers who took my order the 1st time n I explained that the pizza has arrvied cold and asked if I'd like a new pizza and of course I said yes if you could get it here hot, np. So fast forward to same driver showing up with new pizza n i say thsnkyou as I was outside working on front porch n then he asked for the cold pizza back? I hesitate.... Like I'm thinking in my head that the kid on phone didn't say anything about giving it back even after I offered to send it back, so I put the slices in zip lock bags on fridge for lunch tomorrow as what else would i do with cold pizza n a fresh hot pizza on the way. So i gave the dude 1 of the zip lock bags to take back n shut the door as he stood there confused. Then he started walking to his car to watch i could assume to be confused lol. Pretty sure it's against law to take the food back and he was like they want to see how cold it is, wierd... like dude the pizza is cold to the point i.threw the first slice out after trying 2 bites, what are you really doing with it. Definitely makes me think twice about ordering again.“

“5 stars all the way with this one. Rated as "The Best Seafood in America." The restaurant has received many awards and I can see why. The fried clams, are second to none. Sweet and tasty. The onion rings are also excellent. Supposedly, the first clam was fried here in the town of Essex. Woodman's has been cited as "an American Cult Classic-right up there with baseball and apple pie." It has a full bar, it is family friendly & has excellent water views. The fried clams served here are the best I have ever eaten.“

“First of all this place is inside of a Plaza. I didn't know that before I got there but I do now. They have a very nice bar that seems to be pretty long accommodate plenty of guests. There is also lots of seating inside. I had the clam chowder and a pulled pork sandwich. The clam chowder was excellent. One of the better ones in the area for sure. Seemed to me like it was possibly homemade. The pulled pork sandwich was big and stuffed. I'll eat it twice. The fries that came with this were cooked to perfection. And they were good hand shaved fries. Are the people that my table had steak, Burger, chicken, and everything was delicious. This is a good place to take a client for an afternoon meal. It's also away from a lot of the hustle and bustle of Danvers. Just a good place to go and a good overall experience.“
