“This was the first time we ate at SaNouk's Lao and Thai Eats in Plaistow. There will be many more times. The food was so fresh and the flavors just exploded in your mouth. Such aromatic spices from the soup to the entrees. The spring rolls were hot and somehow more tasty than usual. My husband ate the yellow chicken curry and was very happy with the spices and flavors. My sweet and sour chicken was different than expected in a good way- the chicken had a great coating and this was so tasty. Not sugary sweet but real Thai tastes from the spices and cooking techniques. All the fresh aromatics had us transported to food heaven. The store has recently started a new faster way to order food and is truly worth visiting. Mama Lao and Nouk are incredibly friendly and knew our names before long. They talked with us and are just so genuine and gentle people. You will not be disappointed if you try this place!!”

“It is so wonderful to hear that the Agawam Diner is still in business. I grew up in Portsmouth, NH and from 1975?-1989, my mother had to take me for a periodic checkup to an allergy physician in Danvers and most every time on the way back home we would stop at the diner to have something to eat. I am now 55 and living in Florida, but I will never my several visits to the Agawam Diner. For those that haven't eaten there yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed”

Charles the manager was easy to work with making our plans and made sure everything ran smoothly and as planned. He was helpful, professional, responsive and friendly. “1st time at a Lebanese restaurant and tasted several items! The Meat Pie was excellent, but the Spinach Pie is to die for...so GOOD. My husband said his Steak Bomb was the best he ever had, and my Son really enjoyed his Steak and Cheese. The Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings were also very good. We are not around here often, but when we are, we will definitely be back!!!”

“Great Pizza! I was in your shop on Saturday, 29 Oct. This is what I have been searching for. The pizza reminds me of what I used to get in the 1940's and 1950's at pizzerias and barrooms. Thin, with the cheese and tomato spread right up to the edges. Almost foldable but not stiff. The flavor is satisfying and peaceful with a cold drink. The staff was extremely polite and accommodated me with a spaghetti sauce that was not on the menu. Judging from the continuous phone calls and pick-up orders, a lot of people have already discovered you and share my taste . Keep doing the Good pizzas. What a taste! When you've ordered tastey pizza, you know it at the first bite.”

“My husband took me here last night for our Aniversary. He knows I love duck. We were greeted at the door and sat us right away. Our waiter Andrew kept us content with making sure everything was fine with the appetizers drinks entrees and the dessert. The food was amazing. The duck was excellent and my husband's short ribs were delicious. I would definitely go back again. We went early and still made reservations which I suggest you make as I heard this place gets packed on the weekends.”

“My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :)”

“My husband took our 4 boys out for a father/son day, so I decided to take my daughter out for a late breakfast. We ended up at a restaurant that’s been on my radar for awhile, Roasted coffee bar in Haverhill (181 Groveland St).. and I’m so happy with our choice! It’s a small spot tucked in a residential area, parking at the restaurant is limited but plenty of on street parking. It’s bigger inside than I expected though, with several tables along with some comfy looking armchairs. Very cozy atmosphere with plants and other pretty decor. Spotlessly clean as well. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches, toasts, waffles, salads, and wraps along with all sorts of coffee and tea based drinks. I opted to “make my own” and I chose buttermilk fried chicken with bacon, pickles and whole grain mustard on a homemade biscuit. My daughter ordered one of their specialty sandwiches called “Spice Of Life” which is Buttermilk fried chicken, maple-sriracha syrup, cheddar cheese, bacon and house-made pickles.. she also got hers on a biscuit. Everything was absolutely delicious! We both agreed that these were the best biscuits we’ve ever gotten in any restaurant we’ve ever been to. Flaky and buttery.. they melt in your mouth.. I could eat a plate of those plain and be perfectly happy! But the chicken was also fantastic..juicy and tender, super crispy and flavorful crust. The bacon they use is excellent.. very smoky flavor. Their (House-made) pickles are a bit sweeter than standard pickles but still very good. These are hefty sandwiches too. They don’t skimp on portions at all. Prices are between $10.00 and $14.00 each which I feel is perfectly reasonable considering both the quality and the sheer amount of food they give you. For drinks I got an iced latte with skim milk and caramel, my daughter got an iced matcha latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup. Drinks were great, coffee had a nice robust fresh roasted flavor. My daughter said the quality of the matcha they use is very good. The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Lots of ppl were coming in to get take out too (you can order online via “spot on” seamless, grubhub and Uber eats). They are open 7 days a week from 7am until 2pm. Great food, great staff, great restaurant! Highly recommend you give them a try!”
