“West Newton is tried and true. Its consistent. It’s everything you want for a sub shop. You’re not going there for some yuppie gourmet entree you’re going there for a solid sub and a Greek salad with chicken for your girlfriend. This place is steadfast. You’re getting what you asked for and it’s quality is dead on. We order from this place multiple times a week from work and there’s literally never an issue. 10/10 suggest west Newton pizza“

“Everything 10/10. From start to finish — the food, hospitality, music, vibes. We sat at the bar with Renato who was just the best. We tried the meatballs, garlic bread (omg?), the pepperoni with pearl onions, roasted squash pizza and tiramisu — from start to finish everything was absolutely incredible. Words are insufficient to describe my excitement for Mario’s!!!

I’ll start with THIN CRUST - Classic Neapolitan pizza, ITALIAN style. Then FRESH FRESH FRESH ingredients make all the difference. I look forward to it, whenever I can make it, usually for lunch on Friday, the only week day they’re open at 12:00 noon. Awesome vibe that’s 100% local local local. Small place, mostly take out, but you can seat 3-4 people at the window counter, which I love. Old school marble counter, with comfy padded bar stools. You have to know it’s here as the location is a tad off the beaten path of prime visibility. Which ‘proves’ one of my philosophies ‘ great location, often mehh food, not so great location - the food must be amazing. So many amazing points …. One of which is the ACTUAL MARIO! Punctuating the super local CHEF OWNED cafe. He’s here all the time, super nice guy, a joy to chat with … and he truly loves making incredible pizza!!“

“Imo, Union Square lacks great pizza. Sure, all the Indian joints around here make good pizza. Hotbox is great. However, they all feel like a different pizza experience that isn’t the “classic” pizza I’ve been looking for. For me, Caesar’s hits that mark.

Stopped in for a slice of cheese pizza on a 90 degree day in June. No flop, cheese to sauce ratio was just what I like. Atmosphere feels old school, lots of coke memorabilia, good classics being played over the radio. AC was on and I was enjoying a cold bottle of Mexican Coke. Is this not the ideal atmosphere for consuming pizza??

“Yesterday was the first time we tried the pizza at Pizzeria Enzina...Wow... and we are so glad we did. My husband and son ordered a calmelized onion and red pepper version and I tried the vegan veggie pizza. We were thrilled at how delicious each slice was and we loved everything, from the taste of the dough to the generous amount of toppings and how incredible the vegan cheese on mine tasted so amazing...yes my husband and son both swiped slices of mine... it was that good. “Stayed in the holiday inn for two nights, saw this place on our first night and thought would give it a go. One of the best decisions ever, pizza the first night, it was everything we hoped it would be! Very tasty! On our second day after a full day walking around Boston, we again took ourselves to this little eatery. Husband tried the beef tips and I had a chicken salad. Honestly nothing seems to much trouble for this place, if you are near give them a go.“

“Favorite new pizza spot of the area!! Has the traditional style of New London style pizza, slightly greasy but not overly so, fresh baked, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend the mushroom and hamburger pizza, as well as the Greek style. While they may not have the Wood-Fired pizza options that you might get at some other pizza places in Cambridge, you get really traditional Pizza. That is just really tasty and a really good value.

Also, while they are on delivery apps, always try to go in person if you were in the neighborhood as it is hard work to be a pizza place in this city!“
