A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. “Came in to pick up lunch for the first time. The staff are really sweet and took care of my order as soon as I walked in. Maria and Julio were the ones who took care of me and their service was so great!! She even let me try the lemonade. The pineapple lemonade is soooo good. As for the food, I got the Peruvian chicken market plate and it’s very 50/50 unfortunately. The rice and chicken was great, and the green ají sauce?? AMAZING. The sweet potatoes and guacamole were regular, no notes. But the corn?? FROZEN. And the pickled onions? Rancid! Tastes awful. I was disappointed about the veggies because it was the reason I got the dish but honestly, everything else was great and I would give them another try. Especially for that green ají sauce omg!“

There are great combos to try. Service is fast and there is a lot of seating available which helps when it's busy.“
