“I have been a customer for a long time and I highly recommend this place, in my opinion it is the best Brazilian food on the island. The place is great and the service is excellent. The parking lot is very good. Whenever I stop there, there is plenty of space and I always park with a truck. For those who are in a car or truck, there is plenty of parking, plenty of space, an excellent place.“

“Stop 3 on our State Rd morning bakery tour! When I say fresh baked goods, I mean warm right out of the oven scones. Great service from who I would assume are the Pie Chicks. Good patio seating area to enjoy their wares. Only complaint was that there wasn’t more to try - was really counting on this place to have an abundance of baked fruit desserts, like small tarts, jam cookies, mini pies for a single serving - the large pies looked excellent but were more than a baked good tourist could manage at this stage in the game.“

“Lovely waiter and a chef who cares. The dishes seemed inspired on paper and although good on the pallet, would have benefited from a bit of intensity on the flavor profile. I could barely taste the pistachio on our chicken and the citrus flavor was mild. The striped bass was likewise mild in flavor with no detectable herbal notes...the accompanying gnocchi was on the dry side. The Sicilian cherry tart was wonderfully flavorful.....personally would love a little more than a curl of chocolate on the top. Bread, salad, ambience and Susan! all contributed to a welcome evening out. Looking forward to seeing what else the kitchen has up its sleeve in the future.“

“I’m a hater and I hate to admit when places live up to the hype. But The Black Dog certainly surpasses its reputation.

I got the Spicy Woofer and the reason I have no picture to attach is because I practically swallowed it whole. I’m forever adding slightly cooked spinach to my breakfast sandwiches. The bacon was perfectly crispy (I love when the fat is cooked out). The clam chowder was also great. The chocolate chip cookie? Gorgeous. Spectacular. Perfection.“
