“Food wasn't as good as I remembered. The fettuccine Alfredo had little taste. The pizza lacked sauce. Their brownie dessert was hard as a rock (in spite of us asking if it was warm or freshly baked). The mini dessert menu did not match the main menu and the photos of dessert didn't match the description so it was visually confusing. The chicken piccata and Stromboli was good.“

“I went here with a group of my friends and the waitress named Patty was so kind, caring and compassionate. she deserves he world and was one of the kindest people we have ever met. We even got a picture with her. In case there are more than one Pattys this one had brownish hair and in her late sixties to early seventies. she honestly made my week!“

“We are “regulars” at the 89 which means we dine there at least once or twice a week! The food, the severs, the bartenders and the owners are all amazing!! They know “who gets” without asking. They space out courses perfectly, yet they are there when you need them. They never make you feel rushed but check periodically to see if you need anything! We have never had a disappointing meal and we have tried most everything on the menu as well as the weekly specials! From the house made soups to the fresh pastas, entrees and amazing desserts you cannot go wrong. If you haven’t been there and are looking for an outstanding dining experience try 89!! It won’t disappoint!“

“Tazza Caffe and Paninoteca sandwiches for lunch! OMG the sandwiches are huge! Authentic Italian Sue had the Tutto with mortadella, suppressants, Capitola, prosciutto stracciatella cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot cherry peppers and garden greens on delicious seeded bread. I had the LaGemma piadina with roast beef, tomatoes. Charred onions and herbed cheese. Both are excellent, Pictured is about a quarter of the sandwich. The food was outstanding with many in my family commenting how fabulous it was. The Baked Stuffed Eggplant is my favorite....flavorful taste and so yummy! “I visited here December 4, 2023. I had a delicious scallop and haddock mix over fettacchini with a spicy sauce that was to rave about. Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Extremely attentive and generous with his time and suggestions. He is expecting his first child, so if you are so lucky to have him serve you, please be generous, as we all know the expense of a new child. Michael have a blessed day! -James Dalton“

“Absolutely blown away by the quality. Canned Amazin delivers with natural ingredients and incredible flavor. Everything tastes fresh, like it was cooked right there in the kitchen. I had the pizza with no pepperoni — instead, it came with two kinds of spicy, sliced, dried cured meats that were SO much better. Truly the most flavorful pizza I’ve ever had. Mine had cherry tomatoes, red onion, and a bunch of other amazing toppings that came together perfectly. And the summer salad? 10/10. Fresh, crisp, delicious. Highly recommend!“

“We're relatively new to central MA and this is the best pizza we've found in the area, especially when we ask for extra sauce. Inside is really nice too, and staff were patient when we were in the bar area with our two little kids. We've had a few small hiccups with orders, but they're good about resolving them, and often do it proactively, which we greatly appreciate (i.e. we screwed something up, we too X dollars off your bill).“

“We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight“
