I didn’t catch her name but as I was waiting for my sandwich, rather than just putting it on the counter and yelling order ready, she hand delivered it to me. The small things like that make experiences enjoyable for me. Good food and GREAT service.“

“Tonight was the best dining experience we have had in two years! The drinks were awesome, the food was piping hot and came out on the hot plates, even the last bite was hot! My daughter’s plate from the kids menu even looked delicious, and she enjoyed every bite. Most impressive was the service- Yanina was terrific, she was so happy the entire time, we never needed anything during our entire visit, she was one step ahead of us every time! “Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The employees have always been so kind and helpful during past visits, and tonight especially proved that. I came in about 7 minutes before closing feeling bad for coming so late, but they still welcomed me in and made sure I got food without making me feel rushed or inconvenient. “great experience Sunday with our party of 6. Attentive waitresses were interactive without being intrusive, one even playing "rock, paper, scissors with the 7 year old child. Family atmosphere with historic decor. Food was delicious and hot, the way it should be. All in all a really pleasant dining experience. The poutine and fish and chips were favorites, and scallops with grits were a nice surprise. Well done to the staff at Rapscallion!“

“The service was excellent, the sushi was good but the portions were kind of lousy.

I travel a lot and always hit one local sushi spot wherever I go, and I can’t remember the last time my maki came as only six pieces instead of eight.

Was really looking forward to it and sort of let down by the small size of the rolls.

In fact I’m still sitting in the parking lot as I leave this review lol. I got the grilled shrimp with Cajun waffle fries and I almost debated going back inside for a second plate!! “The restaurant is beautiful and the staff and owner are welcoming. I've had some exposure to Caribbean food, but this is so much more. The waitstaff helped us choose a variety of dishes and explained some of the combinations and flavors. I was thrilled with my dish, a sampler featuring fish and a rice dish, and tasted meat pies, a whole tilapia and plantains. Can't wait to try the goat stew or curried goat. This is a must-visit!!! A great place to eat before a show at the Lowell Performing Arts Center or MRT.“

“I went to Cafeto and ordered the Bandeja Paisa. It was the best I’ve had on town hands down. The drinks were great. They didn’t skimp on the liquor. Atmosphere was great. It got me thinking as a dj. “I’ve only ordered takeout and had it delivered. As a vegetarian, many places have a limited selection of items. Pizza Hazel has a great selection of vegetarian items. I can’t recommend their falafel wrap with hummus enough. They also have fantastic jalapeño poppers. They taste homemade and not like the store bought ones that most of the other places around here serve. Everything I’ve purchased tastes fresh. I used to go to a couple of the other pizza shops, but Pizza Hazel is definitely becoming my favorite.“
