“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. “We really enjoyed our time at Nobo! We were out shopping up in NH and wanted to stop en route home (Cambridge, MA). I looked online and found Nobo. We sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and asked him to surprise us with some rolls - he did not disappoint! We also met his wife; they are both very kind and run a good establishment. I never thought I’d say “hey honey, let’s drive up to Chelmsford for sushi” but I’m pretty sure I’ll be saying that again soon. We plan to come back and support this nice restaurant with kind owners, good food, good service, lovely atmosphere.“

“I was looking a Japanese restaurant, and by that I meant one that doesn't break the bank and does not mix Chinese cuisine in the menu. Basically, a 100% Japanese place. I stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Suffice to say, I am super happy. Why?
First, Chawan Mushi dish. This is a traditional Japanese dish. It's steamed egg with fillings. None of the other Japanese restaurants which I had been to offer this. This dish is simple, yet, packed with so much flavor. I have missed this since my last Japan visit.
Second, my Unadon came with Japanese cucumber and radish pickles. It is hard to find these being included in your rice order at Japanese places here in US so I am super happy to have these in my Unadon to eat with rice.
Third, the Soft Shell Crab and Nama-yaki (fresh oyster with scallion and ponju sauce) are super good. Fresh, perfect temp, and tasty.
Forth, I am able to enjoy my meal without being interrupted with constant questions from waitresses. I am not into that style of being questioned right when I put food in my mouth... I am the "pls give me the food and leave me alone so i can enjoy it. If I have questions, i'll wave you down" kind.
Overall, I am a happy camper to find my favorite dishes in one place. The hibachi tables are packed and the festivity is super nice. The facility is clean and the staffs are attentive and quick.
I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the food and please keep these original dishes on the menu :)

“We got 2 large platters (one hot and one raw) for 4 adults. WoW. That was a lot of food. The presentation was beautiful, one on a boat and the other on a bridge. The pieces were huge and very fresh. A lot of different combinations to try. The waitstaff was so nice. Highly recommend!“

“Very fancy inside. Slightly on the pricy side but this is one of those you get what you pay for places, so it’s good. Everything from the fresh fish that tasted like it came sea to restaurant, to the veggies that tasted farm fresh to table, everything here was 20 stars. Of course you can’t rate that in reviews, but they’re getting the max 5 star rating from me“

“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. It was served hot and made fresh. It was not prepared earlier but made as it was ordered. Definitely recommend this as the BEST Chinese food in the area second to none. Even the wait staff is top notch polite and professional. Amazing dining experience!“

“What a amazing experience the sushi is some of the best we have ever had. Well worth the price and then some. Sit at the sushi bar the chefs are friendly and great to watch.“
