They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“

The barista team is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to making top quality hand crafted beverages. My favorite is a whole milk latte with an extra shot. “We visited in the afternoon 3/31. There were only a couple of the really creative bakery artwork pieces out. Everything else was nice just not the wonderful crafted pieces we were looking forward to. That may have been due to our visit being in the afternoon. There were boston creme donut like, cream matcha cake. Croissants filled with cream, strawberries (some with matcha). They had chocolate bread pudding but were out of the apple bread pudding. Also available were chicken sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, potato croquettes. They offer coffee, iced coffee and a small fridge with bottled water, soda. It's a small place with standing room only on the customer side of the counter. There were about 5 employees behind the counter with two of those taking orders.The rolls used on the chicken sandwich and potato croquet were so soft.“

Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. “I love Blue Moon Cafe so much. The vibe in here is always so welcoming. The staff is wonderful as well. Aside from bagels they have a huge selection of baked goods and amazing sandwiches. They have vegan cream cheese. My favorite is the “Montreal Bagel” that is an egg bagel with poppy seeds in the dough, and sesames on top. And the “Big Blue Bagel” which is a plain blue swirled bagel.
