The owner, who I believe was also running the place, was incredibly friendly and served us with genuine warmth and hospitality. We ordered classic Pakistani dishes, and the chef also Pakistani prepared them right in front of us, which made the experience even more special. The flavors were just like back home, and after five days of traveling, I finally got to enjoy a sip of proper desi-style chai and I absolutely loved it! “The bestie and I ate lunch at Avocado's today and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We were greeted by Marco at the bar. He was so pleasant and really seems to love his work. It is a family business and we were treated that way, we really felt like family. My friend and I split a cheese and onion quesadilla and we each got a taco on the side. Everything was delicious and seemed to be on the healthy side. My pico de gallo was full of vegetables. There were so many options! The dessert menu looked great but we were full. The house margaritas were outstanding. You can get good food and drinks a lot of places, but the service at Avocado's really makes it stand out. The place is cozy and beautifully decorated too. Park in the lot by the train tracks but just avoid the reserved spots; once you figure this out there really is ample parking. This is our new place for great Mexican food.“

“Sabina has been open for a year and last weekend I finally got a chance to visit. Went there with a friend and we’d initially thought of just getting drinks but their menu was quite interesting so we tried a few appetizers. My friend had the Cuadrito de lechon which he mentioned was fantastic. I had the Esquite tostada which was presented very well and tasted great. We got a Guacamole to share and it was amazing!

Coming to drinks, my tamarind Margarita was top notch! I can’t remember the names of other drinks we tried but it was delicious!

I know that Newbury St is packed with places to go so it takes a whole lot more to be a standout, Sabina’s is one of those standouts for sure.“

“I ordered the quesadillas and miso soup and have to say it was the best quesadillas I have ever had. The meat had so much flavor and there was plenty of sauce to make it even better. The miso soup was wonderful and stayed very warm even after I ordered it and hour before I ate it. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back“

“The ladies behind the counter took my dairy allergy seriously and helped me find something to enjoy. I had the carnitas tacos, without cheese, and rice and black beans on the side. They made my food first out of the rest of my party, and took the time to clean the grill before hand. The tacos were delicious - the beans and rice were a little bland and much better when I added them to the tacos. I'd recommend speaking to the staff about possible options if you have food allergies.“

“After coming from the dentist, my food choices were limited. Truthfully I just needed a simple home cooked meal.

I definitely got it at Acapulco Restaurant. Customer service excels at this Mom and Pop venue.

The Margarita was expertly prepared and complimented the whole meal. There was plenty from the chips and plain salsa to the number one, which included rice and beans.

“I have had almost all varieties of tacos here and a few of their sides and I love them all. My favorites are probably the Birria and Al Pastor Tacos. You really can't go wrong with any of their tacos though.
When I had a Bad day and need good food to cheer me up, this is where I go.“

The decor is unnerving for sure, and the hot sauce collection has dwindled from its peak, but overall the best Mexican food on Huntington, and certainly the best on NEU Husky Dollars.“

“Consistently delicious food at a great value! Their coconut shrimp burrito is so so good - definitely something I crave on a regular basis. The shrimp is cooked really well (not rubbery, which has happened at other places) and Los Amigos allows you to be flexible and make substitutions - getting this burrito with the mango salsa is the best combo!“

When you come in, you can see that they cook their meats fresh in a giant drum. I therefore know the principal ingredients are fresh. I do miss the pre-inflation days but I still think it's reasonably priced. One worker used to know my order by heart. I am glad that there has been no drop off in quality since the olden days. Will probably go back if I'm hungry and in the area.“
