“I have been ordering takeout from here about once a week for a year since moving to the area. Never once have ran into an issue, order is usually ready within 15 minutes. Food is exactly what you would expect, it's cheap, tasty, somewhat unhealthy Chinese food, and they knock it out of the park. If you're ordering from here expecting to get more then that, you're at the wrong place. I usually get the same couple entrees but have tried almost all appetizer items, everything has tasted great.“

“Last night, we ordered pad see ew with pork, pad see ew with beef, and the pork gyoza (fried). The food was delicious, though both thai noodle dishes were definitely filled with way too many vegetables and hardly any noodles. There was a sufficient amount of pork and beef in each dish, but my payment experience further angers me that the dish was full of not "the good stuff". I was going to order delivery, decided it was too expensive, and then noticed on DoorDash that if I picked up the food, I would save about $10. I am also aware that if you call MOST restaurants directly and order on the phone, it will cost even less, because there's no third party involved. I looked at the website for this restaurant; they use ChowNow for their online ordering, and on DoorDash, for example, the pad see ew was $11.95 with a $2 upcharge for beef and pork, making each dish $13.95. On ChowNow, the same dishes are sold for $13.95 with an additional upcharge for the same proteins, making each dish $15.95. I decided to not place my order online through either servie and called the restaurant directly. They placed my pickup order on ChowNow themselves, and it charged me the ChowNow prices. This has never ever been my experience anywhere else. To make matters worse, their paper menu for dine-in lists pork pad see ew for $9.95 and their beef pad see ew for $10.95. I tried to cut out the third party and was slapped with higher fees. I'm also a person who has leftovers from almost every meal- but not this one. Quite small portion sizes, which would be fine if I did not pay $16 for a $10 dish. I will be going back, but only for dine-in. I've literally heard an employee at another locally owned business ask a customer who was picking up food just to call directly because it saves both parties extra fees. Shocking!“

“This was really good overall. We have been searching for a go-to spot in Weymouth for some time now. The drive over to Fusion Kitchen in Quincy is a bit far and our other couple got spots closed. We ordered the lunch orange chicken - one of the best I have had in memory and my wife agreed I also got beef with Garlic sauce and the beef was very tender and it came with a bunch of veggies. I didn't love the sauce or veggies as a whole, so would like to see if they have beef with mushrooms in the future. Pork friend rice was hella solid, I like the addition of bean sprouts and the pork wasn't fatty and well done. We also got a PuPu platter... I think they call it BoBo but it's what I think of with a PuPu. It came with chicken fingers, 4 pieces of beef teriyaki, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried shrimp and pork strips. Egg Role- one of the better ones I had recently and really enjoyed it Chicken Fingers - touch undercooked for my liking but we're good after a couple mins in the air fry Crab Rangoon were average, but they were airy and that was cool Pork strips - I don't usually like this part of a PuPu but these were outstanding, thin and well done and not big lumps of fat, they used good quality pork Chicken Wings - standard run of the mill Chinese food wings Fried Shrimp also run of the mill and as expected Beef Teriyaki - probably the best I have had in memory... the fact that the PuPu for 2 comes with 4 of them and it is usually my favorite part of a PuPu bumped them up some points. Stars of the meal, Orange Chicken and Beef Teriyaki on a skewer. Lunch meals were very reasonable at $7.99 and came with a lot. We would order the lunch Orange chicken with a side of beef teriyaki for myself and my wife in the future. I'm hoping they can be consistent but this is a good start.“

“One of my new go-to spots for Asian-inspired healthy bowls.I first found out about Lotus Test Kitchen last year while looking for a lunch spot in Downtown. Since then, I’ve been getting bowls from here at least once a month. They seamlessly meld Asian flavors into healthy bowls without a lot of compromises. My favorite bowl is their signature Braised Pork Belly Bowl, which features three substantial chunks of tender pork belly. It also comes with cabbage slaw, and pickled daikons and carrots that helps tone down the greasiness with their tangy, refreshing crunch. And then there's the Spicy Gochujang sauce, an optional but highly recommended addition that weaves sweetness and a subtle kick to the bowl. While certain dishes, like the Thai Curry Chicken and the Spicy BBQ Korean Pork Belly bowl, occasionally come with meat that errs on the drier side, their sauce and pickled vegetable toppings help elevate the central ingredients.Overall, a great lunch spot that offers a quick, filling, and delicious bowls. If you’re looking for something healthy outside of your usual salad bowls, I highly recommend giving them a try.“

After seeing a segment on TV, I really wanted to try the burger and it might be one of the top 5 burgers I've ever had (and I have had thousands). The Bao bun is just so good, as was the sauce and the pickles. Top it off with a side of duck fat fries and you have the perfect burger. “Recently, we happened to be in Boston Chinatown for a day-long expedition. Being vegetarian, we expected something of a struggle while searching for places to eat beforehand. However, this actually wasn't the case: Double Chin seemed to be highly praised by most, and the menus shared online presented multiple options for people who don't eat meat. Plus, you can always ask for substitutions. Something we specifically appreciated here was that each person got their own plate- meaning you could portion how you wanted from the main dishes you ordered. We ordered two things. Firstly, we got the mapo tofu, and specified it to the server for it to be vegetarian. Apparently you can also ask for it to be vegan, as a table next to us ordered the same mapo tofu but vegan. Along with the mapo tofu we got a side of fried rice, which was very simple- just egg and rice lightly fried together, no veggies. The mapo tofu was absolutely delicious. Honestly, it LOOKS spicier than it actually is, and had more of a sweet flavour than spicy, which was really interesting. The tofu chunks were generously large, and there were also red and green pepper slices in there too. The second thing we ordered was the ginger scallion stir fried noodles. Or, at least that's what it's called on the menu I'm reading at the moment... anyways, this was fantastic too! Personally, I go nuts for anything sesame or scallion, so this was an excellent choice for me. We had some leftovers of this, and it was delicious re-heated at home too. The only issue we had was the fact that some of the items we were interested in on the menu were just not available. We pointed to what we wanted on the menu to the server, and they said something like 'we aren't serving that'. What..? The item I personally pointed to wasn't even crossed off in black marker like the rest of the 'unavailable' things, so that was a little weird. Overall, what was available at Double Chin was pretty good! The mapo tofu was a splendid experience, and the noodles were awesome even re-heated the next day. What was and wasn't available to be served on the menu was a little confusing, so make sure you always have a 'second choice' so you aren't left scrambling at the last moment to choose something else.“
