“I've been going to Simards for 20+ years and prefer it to other local roast beef places because they remain friendly and affordable despite the changing times. The drive thru sign needs major renovations (like lights) but I don't come for a drive thru sign I come for a decent roast beef sando with fries and a drink. There is always someone friendly working the window and the cost does not break the bank like a similar places like this.“

“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

Super roast beef was WAY bigger than most, and for the price was perfect. The only thing I would like is the beef to be just a tad bit less rare. Other than that can't complain. “We have frequented NYAJ‘s for years, the Burlington location may until it closed, then Beverly until moved to Peabody. Recently the Peabody location closed.....not sure why ? Now the closest for us is the “new“ Bedford location. Very nice, enjoyed the back room, it's away rom the main dining area / bar. Nice and quiet. We shall return.....too bad locations keep closing“

“First time there, was on a whim due to a Google search for burgers. Snappy Patty’s did not disappoint!! The cheeseburgers, tots, and beignets were on point!! Delicious, well cooked, and well seasoned!!! I’m from the south and this is the FIRST place I have ever recommended for burgers. The decor is phenomenal!! The colors and pics on the wall.. you have to see it!! Everything from Sesame Street, Star Wars, to classic rockers are present on the walls!! The music is the perfect level!! You can talk and have as conversation, but still have background music. Something I have found is not always the case. The staff is unbelievable. I felt like I was a regular that had been going for years! The communication with ordering to hid the staff works senselessly together is an added bonus to this experience. Yes, experience.. when all your senses are activated.. a restaurant/bar isn’t just a place for food and drinks. It’s a place that comes to life. Check it out when you can and tell me if you don’t feel the same!! I already know I’ll be back. Enjoy!!“

“Classic office cafe with some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. I used to work across the street and made it a point to come over almost every afternoon for the excellent offerings and the awesome service.

Variety of options available and almost anything not on the hot line can be customized to your liking. Be sure to ask if you arent sure, and someone will definitely do their best to help or accommodate your needs. Caesar wrap and BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch wraps were my go to and, when they have them, the sweet potato fries are top notch.

Coming here I felt like I was valued. My business was appreciated and the staff go above and beyond. Almost forgot to mention, those cookies and brownies are legit. Make sure to get one, and if you time it right, get em while theyre hot!“

So here might be a little bit of slowness going on. “Went for dinner on a holiday Monday evening and maybe that was part of the problem. It was easy to find and the restaurant itself is very nice. There was one table filled when we got there and after they left we were the only people there! I felt bad for the staff that it was so dead. The food was delicious and service was great! I would have given 5 stars if it had just been a little busier because it does knock the ambiance down. Will definitely be back another time to check it out - probably be packed then LOL“
