“We went for the first time today and were not disappointed! We had the brioche roll, baguette and a croissant and they were all PERFECT. Soft, buttery and delicious. The owner was so kind and friendly too! My fiancé and I will be going every Sunday as a new tradition now!“

Their sugar cookies are the best in the world I’ve NEVER tried sugar cookies that measure up. However I have one suggestion! Please stop using the heavily dyed sugar Crystal sprinkles on top of the sugar cookies. Not because I’m anti dye or anything; it’s because it stains really badly. And the stain lasts forever on my lips. I’ve essentially had to take a Brillo pad to my lips so I don’t walk out of the house looking like I’m wearing green lipstick!! Don’t get me wrong I love the crunch of the sugar crystals on top- I just wish there was a clear non dyed option so I can enjoy these cookies without looking funny afterwards lol.“

The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. Small bakery in East Somerville, not the easiest to get to, but at least that means there won’t be a big queue!

I tried their almond croissant and their baguette. The baguette was superb: crispy, the perfect amount of chewiness, honestly I was transported back to Paris. Extremely authentic.

The almond croissant was very good (and beautiful!) One small criticism which prevents this from reaching 5 stars: I felt like the almond paste could have been more flavourful, and the croissant itself could have been slightly crispier. But still overall solid.“

Lamb hash was full of flavor, but nothing exciting for brunch level with ground meat as the hash instead of pulled or shredded. Wife's muesli was delicious with fresh fruit. Counters and tables did not seem to be cleaned between patrons and we had to skip a few seats to find one clean to eat at. The brioche toast was delicious and we wish we could have grabbed some more pastries, but it would have been another 30 minutes in line.“

The melon pan was really good and I enjoyed the sweet crust. I just wish the inside was a bit more “cloudy”/fluffy (less doughy) like traditional melon pans. The Chocolate Croissant was amazing. Really liked the chocolate filling and the flakiness of the croissant.
The matcha latte was pretty good, but a bit too sweet. The coffee in the iced latte was a bit too acidic for my taste. All their baked goods are pretty cheap tho!“

Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

The service was a little slow as there were only two people managing the whole operation and they were making everything to order.“
