“The chicken parm and meatball calzones here are delicious. The cheese is thick and toasted to perfection with the correct balance of sauce that doesn't drip everywhere in each bite. The meat is tender and nicely flavored. Definitely the best calzones I've had. This place is a hidden gem. There's plenty of street parking for pickup of takeout.“

“We stumbled on the amazing restaurant and stopped in twice while on vacation in South Boston! “I don’t miss much about going vegan but I do miss diners. If you’re looking for classic diner style vegan foods Veggie galaxy hits the spot. Very cool diner vibes, complete with large cake display up front and neon lit signage in the window. They do serve eggs & cheese but everything on the menu can be made vegan if you ask. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a classic plant based greasy spoon experience.“

“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! “THIS PLACE WENT FROM BEING ONE OF THE BEST GEMS TO A PLACE THAT FEELS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO EVEN SET A FOOT IN. I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE FOR OVER 10 YEARS, SINCE PANDEMIC HAVE NOT GONE. WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. “We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.“

“We accidentally met Chef Lester earlier in the day; ironically, we already made a reservation for my birthday dinner later that day, before this introduction. He mentioned the Pumpkin Risotto special and said when we returned to ask for him. The food was excellent and he personally came to our table to check on us. He then had our server bring us a beautiful platter of desserts, topping off an outstanding experience and birthday celebration! I will definitely be back!“

“Food was excellent good Italian pizza and I spent 10 plus years making pizza in the North End girl on register had a beautiful smile and face with curves and all the right places Beauty like that only makes the food taste better unfortunately a low selection of soda but willing to look past it thanks to micro Brews on tap West a great ambience Frank Sinatra music was feeling my ear as the smell of true authentic food with filling the air! All around I would give them more stars if I could“
