“Tried the chicken gyro at Opa Greek Gyro and really enjoyed it! The meat was flavorful and tender, and everything tasted fresh. Portion size was just right, and the pita was soft and warm. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a good gyro. Will be coming back to try more from the menu!“

“The Halloumi Cheese Pita and/or Plates with Charred Eggplant and Garlic Skordalia spreads are my favorites. I especially love the Charred Eggplant spread as it’s extremely tasty and unique. I don’t recommend getting meat as the protein as it’s usually pretty dry.

The Zucchini Chips are also my go-to side dish.

The Loukomades (Greek donuts) are good, but nothing special.

It’s a bit hard to navigate in the Newbury location when it’s crowded as it’s so small“

“We had an amazing dining experience while celebrating our wedding anniversary! The food was absolutely fantastic — the Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the octopus dish was tender and delicious, and the feta and pear plate was fresh and beautifully balanced.

What really made the evening special was the wonderful service by Javier and Cristina. They were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our celebration feel extra special.

“This greek restaurant is absolutely delicious! My partner and I shared a chicken pita—though it’s definitely a generous portion that one person could easily finish on their own.

The only downside is that when it gets busy, it really fills up quickly. Seating is limited, and there isn’t much space to sit and enjoy your meal, which was a bit disappointing since it would’ve been nice to dine in.

The staff was doing their best to manage the rush, especially on such a busy day in the city. That said, having someone dedicated to the register while another handles to-go and dine-in orders might help things run more smoothly. Service was on the slower side, and it was a bit frustrating having to eat while standing—but the chicken pita made up for it. It was flavorful and really well-prepared.

“This place was a huge surprise and what honestly made our experience was Mario, our server! He was funny, attentive and helpful with the menu. It’s rare to find servers like Mario in the Boston eating scene and he made the experience what it was.

The lamb chops were my favorite, they were cooked perfectly medium rare, the spanakopita was top notch. All the food came piping hot which of course is always a plus.

There were a lot of great appetizer options and I wish I tried more!

My daughter had a Gyro plate, while my wife and I had the Awadhi Jackfruit Korma and Peri Peri Kingfish. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return!“

Eventually (4 days later) the credit card company fixed the mistake that they caused. Dennis at Pizza World tried to help, but it was David and Goliath. I am very sorry for bad mouthing Pizza world.“
