“I stopped into the lounge at Smitty’s in Steinbach today and was really impressed. Annika was behind the bar and she may be one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had, warm, professional, and she made me feel completely welcome right away. Even with my slightly unusual order (2-egg breakfast with 4 extra eggs), she didn’t bat an eye, just handled it with ease and a smile. The food came out great, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but polished. As a visitor, I’d say this is one of the top spots in Steinbach if you’re looking for a clean, friendly place to grab a meal or bring a client.”

“We were there on Sept 1, 2026. It is very clean place we had the 2 piece chicken special It was delicious. The chicken was hot and fresh My husband said it was the best chicken he has had. The pieces were big. Portions of the fries and mashed potato were good sized. After 4 they give you this I will call wagon wheels (batter deep fried) which are very addictive. The staff are the best”

“Food was great. Turkey was tender. Brisket was a mix of dry, lean and juicier pieces. Corn bread was very hard on the outside. Mac n cheese very cheesy. Decent potato salad.

Sauces helped the drier bits of brisket. Texas bold is my favorite. Fiery has a nice sweet heat. Not too hot. MB Gold, I'd describe like a honey mustard. I can take or leave the Birds 2 Bones.

Service is friendly enough. Food came fast. Takeout window is convenient. Cool ranch/bbq house vibe. Decent amount of seating. It's a nice place for the town. I'd return.”

“Stopped by for a late lunch a few days ago and the club sub was packed with fresh toppings, not soggy at all. I brought my camera along and the natural light by the front windows made for a nice shot of the food before I dug in. Staff were friendly and didn't rush me even though I was clearly fumbling with settings for a few minutes. Parking right out front made the whole stop easy, and I'll definitely be back to try the burgers next time.”

“I wish I could give no stars at all... walked in with my boss to have dinner. I have ordered many times to-go over the past year but this was my first and LAST dine in experience. I asked to order something with half the crab meat, she said they couldn't do that. So I said that's fine I'll order it with it. She then continued on to explain very annoyed they couldn't take it out after I already agreed to order it the way it says on the menu. She then said she would be right back.. came back visibly annoyed and said they aren't taking any sushi orders anymore, took our menus and walked away (??) Very confused we said "okay why wouldn't you say that when we first got here" I mentioned to my boss that this was one way to make a customer not want to come back which she (the older lady, server/owner?) then yelled "oh good don't come back". I am floored and disgusted with this "customer service" or lack of! I'll stick to ordering from the city where they treat their customers with respect. The only good thing I'll say is the original younger lady who served us our drinks was very nice”

“Interestingly I only tried this place for the first time this last week.
I absolutely loved it! After our order was placed they had these comfy lazy boy chairs to sit and wait for the order to be ready. I'd say it's really nice somewhat of old country style place. Which is what I love!”

“I'm here more often than wallet would like. I've probably spent enough in that drive on longer work days to qualify as some sort of patron saint to the Dave's Single.

Food's very consistent, the drink selection is unmatched as well as refillable when dining in. My only criticism is the breakfast menu is pretty lacking and everything the few things I've order in the morning are incredibly dry, especially the dried-out, crumbling eggs. Apart from that, foods very good, especially for a Wendy's of its size. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
