“I stopped into the lounge at Smitty’s in Steinbach today and was really impressed. Annika was behind the bar and she may be one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had, warm, professional, and she made me feel completely welcome right away. Even with my slightly unusual order (2-egg breakfast with 4 extra eggs), she didn’t bat an eye, just handled it with ease and a smile. The food came out great, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but polished. As a visitor, I’d say this is one of the top spots in Steinbach if you’re looking for a clean, friendly place to grab a meal or bring a client.”

“First of all, food tastes great & there is an excellent variety of options on their menu, including many gluten free! Prices are very decent & you get good portions for them; Wow! …no I’m not related to anyone there; I just want the place acknowledged & others to enjoy all they have to offer. Try it out! Hours are very good 7&8am to 7&9pm. Beer & other beverages available, indoor/outdoor dining or pickup. Ah yes, and their steak special dinner is phenomenal!!”

“I wish I could give no stars at all... walked in with my boss to have dinner. I have ordered many times to-go over the past year but this was my first and LAST dine in experience. I asked to order something with half the crab meat, she said they couldn't do that. So I said that's fine I'll order it with it. She then continued on to explain very annoyed they couldn't take it out after I already agreed to order it the way it says on the menu. She then said she would be right back.. came back visibly annoyed and said they aren't taking any sushi orders anymore, took our menus and walked away (??) Very confused we said "okay why wouldn't you say that when we first got here" I mentioned to my boss that this was one way to make a customer not want to come back which she (the older lady, server/owner?) then yelled "oh good don't come back". I am floored and disgusted with this "customer service" or lack of! I'll stick to ordering from the city where they treat their customers with respect. The only good thing I'll say is the original younger lady who served us our drinks was very nice”

“I'm here more often than wallet would like. I've probably spent enough in that drive on longer work days to qualify as some sort of patron saint to the Dave's Single.

Food's very consistent, the drink selection is unmatched as well as refillable when dining in. My only criticism is the breakfast menu is pretty lacking and everything the few things I've order in the morning are incredibly dry, especially the dried-out, crumbling eggs. Apart from that, foods very good, especially for a Wendy's of its size. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
