“My granddaughter is Dairy egg and gluten resistant ordered her own personal birthday cake, chocolate almond caramel with a picture on it of her puppy . Absolutely delicious! The picture was perfect. She was thrilled to have her own cake worth every penny all the guests got regular cupcakes. I will be ordering one for Father’s Day for sure. The staff is wonderful. I love the little store. Thank you so much for making her day. ❤️“

“Eadha bakery worker co-op is a wonderful big shop located at 577 Ellice avenue in the West End only a few steps from the University of Winnipeg main campus. This is an awesome place to go to for fresh baked goods, including scones, pizza, twists, cookies, and all other baked delicacies. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Service was excellent and the pricing was fair. Great place overall. Awesome vibe. There’s free parking in the back. I highly recommend.“

I haven't tried a lot of their sweets because as a diabetic I have to watch my sugar intake, but what I have tried has been delicious. The paninis and chicken soup are to die for. I purchased a chicken empanada today for dinner. That was the first item that I was disappointed with. There was a lot of puff pastry. The inside was doughy/gummy. There was a massive cavity on one side that had about 2 tablespoons of bland chicken filling. It was over $5 with tax. I ended up eating only one bite of the pastry and all of the filling. Sadly the rest of the pastry ended up in the garbage.🙁 The empanada was a one-off. All of my previous purchases and experiences there have been wonderful. I would highly recommend this bakery.“

She had a spoonful of each and saved the rest for rest of week! Worth trying out these unique handmade dessert support local! The container in the photo to show the size of the dessert you get.“

“Me and my friend went to study and get a sweet treat. The service was very nice and the staff helped us understand the menu. The atmosphere is clean and the music is very nice- we got a lot of work done during this time while enjoying our treats.

We recommend the cinnamon rolls, salted caramel latte and vanilla frappuccino!

“I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!“

“Tonight we had one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in long time. Menchie is an absolute angel!!! We had our friends over who are expecting their first baby. Decided to order in desert but when we finished the selection and went to order on skip, the store was closed for orders - by two minutes. We decided to phone to see if there was any way to let the order go through but they explained that is controlled by skip the dishes. To make a long story short, when they heard it was for a pregnant, newly expecting mother, Menchie offered to personally deliver our order after their shift ended and the store closed. They even threw in extra goodies at no added cost! Absolutely amazing! And of course, everything was delicious.“

“We always come here as it is near my workplace. They always make fresh bread and cakes. They have lots of different kinds of buns and some sweets. My favorite is the pineapple custard bun, coconut macarons, bbq pork bun and mochi! They also have fresh mango cake. They don't make a lot so whatever they have that day are guaranteed fresh. When it's gone it's gone! Just try again the following day. Highly recommended and lovely owners!“
