“Prairie Donair is genuinely refreshing addition to the halal and middle eastern food options in Winnipeg. We ordered a take out at their St. Vital Square location and were genuinely satisfied with the customer service of the person behind the counter. He was courteous, friendly, helpful and upon inquiry even showed their halal certificate which is honestly appreciated. Service was on point, on time, generous serving size, scrumptious blends of Greek and Middle Eastern flavors and pocket friendly too. Donair and Bowls are a must try. “This food is amazing. I've been here 6 times already, and experience has been identical each time. They are not afraid to really pile on the toppings of you ask (no extra charge). If the pita wrap breaks, they ask you if you want a new wrap, or just have it double wrapped. They warm a new pita as soon as you place the order, so you aren't getting some old, prewarmed, stale one. The communication is excellent. Over all, I'm never going to subway again.“

“I live nearby and bring my daughter to subway every Thursday evening for dinner. It’s your average Subway - except that the staff go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. It’s the Cheers of Moray Village (you youngins might need to google what that means)! I love that they take the time to interact with my daughter, including comp’ing us a sandwich once when she dumped hers on the floor or continuing to offer her vegetable toppings even though we all know she’ll turn up her nose (I appreciate the consistency!). I’ve tried to take my daughter to other Subways, but she typically refuses because they’re not “our” Subway. The subs are good, the restaurant is clean, and the staff make great recommendations if you want to try new things! Highly recommend!“

If you are driving north on main Street and wish to leave and continue north on main Street access is great. You can get access to this location through the Sobeys parking lot. “I have been wanting to try this place for ages! We ordered from here (not dine in) and the food was fantastic. I had the chicken cesar wrap with bacon and it was so tasty. Just the right amount of sauce. Wrap is a good size.
It was a nice meal when you're looking for veggies and fresh foods as opposed to a burger and fries.
It is a nice alternative to getting a sub. More variety!
It has taken me years to try this but will definitely be eating your food again 😉“

One of the two was probably a manager of some sort and she was very friendly and helped us out with menu and what sauces go well with our rice bowl and pita.
