Pro tip for this place: get the combo deals. Good value and they have delicious tonkatsu, bibimbap and udon. When I lived downtown and was in Winnipeg Square frequently I would often get their udon combo (small bown of tempura udon and your choice of what would otherwise be a $10 sushi roll) or the bibimbap combo - which came with miso soup. My favorite sushi joint by far love the food love the friendly staff and my son cant get enough of their chicken fingers. Also if you have a sweet tooth they have some amazing deserts.
The Monkey Roll may be the greatest roll of all time. Tuna with house spicy sauce, topped with creme chopped scallops, green onion and tobiko. It is all in perfect balance. I crave it!
