“I rarely take the time to write reviews, and definitely not for places like Subway, but this experience genuinely deserved one.

We came in during our clinic lunch break and placed a pretty large order (8 footlongs), and from the moment we walked in, Dev and Jag (or Jay) were nothing but kind, patient, and incredibly welcoming. You could tell right away that they actually care about people, not just getting orders done.

What really stood out to me was how they handled everything with such a positive attitude and good humour. They were laughing, engaging with us, and just brought such a warm, easygoing energy to the whole interaction. Not once did they seem rushed or overwhelmed, even with a big order.

They took their time with each sandwich, making sure everything looked clean, organized, and done properly. Every single sub was neatly wrapped, clearly labelled, and honestly looked like it was made with pride and care, not just thrown together. It genuinely felt like the food was made with love.

It’s small things like that that make a big difference, especially in the middle of a busy workday. Their attitude lifted the mood for all of us and made our lunch break feel smooth and enjoyable.

Dev and Jag/Jay should absolutely be recognized and praised for the level of service they provide, and I truly hope they continue doing exactly what they’re doing, because it does not go unnoticed.

“Went on Sunday April 12th, the poor worker was by herself getting slammed by online orders and a full restaurant. With that going on she did an amazing job and was very kind and patient and still did a great job at finishing everything on time. Management should do a better job at scheduling.“

“Ok, so almost three weeks ago I walked inside and was basically yelled at in greeting. It was a blonde woman, who I had never seen before - I wasn't even completely in the door and she was yelling hello and greeting me. Take it down a notch! Let the customer get inside. It honestly was off-putting. I'm glad she isn't there much at all. I wouldn't go back it's that overwhelming.

However, 5 stars to the regular staff that work there. They always have a friendly smile on their face, always greet me once I'm actually inside. They are friendly, fast and are amazing. In Winnipeg we cater to a 50% employee demo of half-wits and students that don't give a crap about their compensation so when the chemistry works at a location like this I'll keep making detours on the way home to get my sandwiches the way I like them at this location.“

“Went into subway tonight, around 1am, was craving a good sub, the lady who was making my subs name was Kamal, a sweet young East Indian lady. She wasn’t only taking orders in store, but on skip, door dash, online subway and uber orders. The poor girl was all by herself but god was the service ever awesome. She made the sub perfectly, treated everyone in there with immense respect, all while having everything on her plate and no help. I how and pray whoever is her manager either gives her a raise or congratulates her for her hard work.“

Although I’m not sure who the artist or team member was behind this order, they truly did an excellent job. Another major plus is the fact that the place is open 24 hours. That convenience is incredibly helpful, especially for late-night or early-morning cravings. On top of that, the drive-thru option makes everything even easier and more efficient, saving time while still delivering great food.

“I enjoy the food at Subway. I did have an negative experience recently because the digital gift card was not being able to be processed at Subway stores. However, i was able to get help from Jamie who now has several Subway stores. I met him at the Grant store near Superstore and he was able to get my card to be accepted for a transaction. It tuens out that Subway employees were using the giftcard button on the cash registered when they should not have been doing so. In the app when you choose the gift card as the default payment option, all thr stores need to do is scan the app bar code and this deducts the payment off the digital card. Bottom line is thay Jamie turned by negative experience into a positive experience after dealing with refusal of the gift card at several Subway locations. Thank you Jamie. I hope that you can use this situation as a teaching opportunity for the stores. Thank you for reaching out to me.
