I was looking for vegan food when I first arrived in Winnipeg and the person at the information desk at the airport recommended the Green & Grain. It's a small restaurant, located in a strip mall, that specializes in smoothies, wraps and salads. In town for a few days and was looking for a healthy meal in the west end of St James. Great sandwich and salad (Cuban sandwich and Caesar salad). Great quality and value. Best healthy choice in this end of Winnipeg. Definitely recommend.
