Yay Yan is our staple Chinese restaurant place to order delivery from! It’s a St James specialty! The Egg Fo Young is the best in the city! And the people that deliver are always so nice, and they take extra care of handing over the food.
We tried Yan Yan tonight for the first time. We ordered the meal for 4 and It was excellent. The sauce for all of the meats - including the sweet and sour sauce - was more of a sauce and less of a candied syrup like a lot of other places. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the thicker candied syrup sometimes too. But this was different and nice. We always order our Chinese food from Yan Yan. But I have to be honest the last three times we have ordered from them they have forgotten to put in the bag sweet and sour sauce for our chicken balls. Plum sauce in the bag for our egg rolls and last night again no plum sauce in the bag and the food was so cold we had to heat every dish in the micro wave.
