“Went during a rush (?), food was good. Had fried rice, gai lan, and beef balls.

Highlight was definitely the fried rice, it was very delicious, not dry, and had pork and shrimp. I wish the gai lan stem was cut off just to make the eating experience easier, and for it to be drained a bit more so that the oyster sauce could stick better.

“You could smell the authenticity from street, just as you walk in! Was seated quickly. Food was delicious!! The ginger chicken is a must! I would have been content with that paired with fried rice any day of the week. The cantonese chow mein was exactly how I like it, some noodles were crunch some were doused in sauce. The five spice battered shrimp had a kick of heat and was so crispy! Good portions, filled up 4 bellies, and enough for a couple to go containers! I've always drove past this restaurant but never walked in. Now that I have, I'll be a regular indefinitely!“

Pork rib rice: 10/10 so tasty so good so cheap. With the price raise more and more, still keep around 5 dollars. Even with a free egg. Like I exactly eat in China street restaurant. Absolutely will back.

Shrimp dumping/ Siu Mai: okay I feel it is frozen food. But the price is nice too.

Scallion pan cake: not good not good, don’t order.

Only acccept cash, the cashier I guess is owner too, very polite and kind and nice.

“I used to eat lunch here occasionally when I was at the high school next door 50+ years ago, I decided to try it out after all these years on a whim. A good choice was made.
I had the ginger beef lunch special ($9.50), three good sized beef cutlets pounded and breaded and the fried to perfection. With fried rice and mixed veggies, mostly cabbage, on the side.
The appetizer was a simple wonton soup which had a very tasty broth and a couple of meaty wontons which did not disappoint. I’m pretty sure I won’t be waiting 54 years to come back again.“

Shanghai noodles by time i ate 5 chicken balls i wasn’t so hungry
Appeared a touch dry and bland tasting. Put all in fridge in hotel and brought back home to ontario in my electric cooler for next day
Dumped noodles into a bowl added a touch of water and drizzled sweet soy sauce its very thick back and forth about 4 times mixed it all up and heated it microwave
Now wish i had a couple more containers of them

The restaurant is small but the food was really good, the reviews didn’t lie at all. We ordered the crispy fried chicken, sizzling seafood plate, chicken egg foo yung, Cantonese fried rice, deep fried breaded shrimp and the chow mein. “It was a task to visit the restraunt. Had a hot spicy bone soup, like the soup but the rice wasn't Korean's special. I understand the cost for Korean rice is high but could be cooked proper not mooshy from what they have on hand. The service was nice however.“

Showed up between the scheduled pick up time and when I went to the counter I noticed the girl had not even submitted my order to the back kitchen. She hastily ran my order to the kitchen. “I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. “Came to dine in on Friday a couple days ago for the first time. The greeter smiled at me and walked me to my table, and upon sitting down and looking around the place everything looked very clean and spacious without feeling like you're so squished to everybody like at most busy restaurants. The server was very friendly and young, I'm guessing the owners son and I believe it might be family owned. I was treated to very affordable priced sweet and sour honey chicken balls with Shanghai noodles and egg rolls. From just the presentation, it looked very vibrant and the portions sizes were very accommodating. For just under $20 for most meals, it is cheaper than places like Delat on Taylor but they most certainly rival those restaurants with the food quality. I don't really have anything bad to say about this place and I just noticed the website interior looks older from years ago and I noticed upon visiting here a couple days ago they had done renovations which look absolutely gorgeous. The bamboo water sprinkler at the front also adds to the atmosphere and is kinda relaxing listening to the water fall. I'll be back here again sometime with my family and friends! “One of our new favourite places for Chinese food. Everything we have tried has been delicious! Very fresh tasting and quality ingredients. We appreciate them calling to double check when an online order is placed. It gets very busy so placing an order in advance is your best option but you might get lucky and they will try to squeeze you in! Friendly staff, full of regulars and always willing to accommodate special requests if they can! Only gave 3 for the atmosphere just because it can be crowded when waiting if there are a few orders but there is nothing wrong with atmosphere!“
