The restaurant is small but the food was really good, the reviews didn’t lie at all. We ordered the crispy fried chicken, sizzling seafood plate, chicken egg foo yung, Cantonese fried rice, deep fried breaded shrimp and the chow mein. However, it is a bargain at $7.80! Not a huge jump from $5 about 20 years ago. Next time we will add extra shrimp kow (used to be 4 in the beginner plate, but is 2 now).“

“Solid Chinese restaurant with a mix of dim sum and other regional dishes — food is decent overall. It's a bit pricier and not quite as authentic as I'd hoped, but for the south end of Winnipeg, it's honestly a pretty good option. My former landlord also gave it a fair review, for what it's worth.🥰“

“This place is incredible. I've been looking for great Sichuan food for years, since my favorite place in Calgary shut down. Didn't expect to find it in Winnipeg.

The spicy pork noodles were fantastic. The green beans and the shredded potatoes with vinegar are a must. Highly recommend the eggplant as well.

The atmosphere matched most of the best restaurants I went to in China, which is that you're there for the food, not the decor. We were on the side by the kitchen so it wasn't fancy and was a little noisy. But it didn't matter because the food came fast and we were focused on how good it was.

“I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. That’s two times in a row bad experience after buying from them for over 25 years. If they don’t return to right portions and tasty foods I’ll no longer buy from them.“

“I've been going to this place since 2018. They survived COVID for a reason. This is the BEST Vietnamese pho in the city. I highly suggest the deluxe pho. The fillet fish combo is delicious too.

The price is great, the food is phenomenal, and the staff are friendly! The atmosphere is decent but the food is worth it! Be warned the medium bowl is realistically a large and will FILL you up.

Each time I order the Vietnamese soda (homemade sprite) and I only got it twice. If you order it and you get it, consider it a sign of good omen.“

“Ken's just has great food at good prices. It's not overly salty, nor is it overly sweet. Only downside about this place is that the area is sketchy and the parking is god awful. But if you can stomach that you're in for a real treat.“

Broth pre made but there is quite abit to choose from I tried lamb was flavor full, the costume dipping sauce is where it's at different seasonings to choose and oils. Definitely a must try. Price range for me and my wife 101 with drinks I mean not bad some places I tried and spent the same amount so I can't really argue price range for the amount of food.“
