“Stumbled upon it today and it was literally life changing. Haven't had a vermicelli bowl in about 2 years since the last one cost $19.50 with a tip. I can't afford that so stopped eating it. This place has one for $9, probably the cheapest I have ever seen no joke. Was delicious and the owner? was friendly and service very fast. Had an ice coffee as well and total was $13.30 or so. Will go back regularly from now on. Feeling lucky and blessed this fine Friday!!“

“This place is great and has so much flavor depth in the menu. Highly recommend and the owner is always greeting people with a smile. Great value. Only disappointment is that they are moving location but that just means I'll have to travel a bit longer. That's also a huge win for people who live in the area of the future location.“

“💕Amazing lunch date today at Banh Mi King Winnipeg- Vietnamese Eatery! Everything was beyond delicious 😋 and the staff were super nice. We had milk tea, lemon grass beef sandwich, charbroiled pork sandwich and salad rolls with peanut sauce that I forgot to get a picture of lol. We will 100% be back again 👍👍“

“One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the city in my opinion. Decor is simple and clean. Service is always friendly. But i don't come here for the ambience. I come for the excellent tasting food which never disappoints. Portions are generous, and the price is fair i think for what you get, considering food is generally more expensive whether u stay at home or eat out.“

“Vietnamese authentic foods. Especially Bun Bo Hue, the broth is very tasty. Rice crackers with little mussels and steamed tapioca dumpling (banh bot loc) are the must-try. If you are a fan of coffee, I strongly recommend the coffee condensed milk (cafe sua da) here. Will come back again to try more different dishes!“

“Consistently great bubble tea! Hands down the best taro you can get in Winnipeg. The bubbles are also included in the drinks!! I also recommend the mango, young coconut taro, and the durian. Cheap subs on the go as well. They never disappoint.“

“Got the 33 large and the 10. I originally thought the spring rolls would have pork, but they seemed to be more of a vegetarian base. Still pretty good and tasty. Personally, going solo and having 6 spring rolls was a bit much, so maybe if there was an option for a half order that'd be nice. As for the pho, it was a pretty good portion size. Noodle texture and beef were exactly as you'd imagine. The only thing is that the taste was a bit milder than I was expecting. But overall pleasant.“

“I wasn't too hungry so I just wanted some soup. I order the wonton soup and it was very good and tasty. There was lots of Wonton in it. I think about 5.
Its wasn't salty which was good . I hate salty soup. The new owners have been here for almost 2 years. The previous owners put too much salt in their soup so I haven't been here for a long time. The original owners made wonderful soup but they sold their business before Covid. I will come back here with my family.“

Pho Kim Tuong has expertly curated the experience customer satisfaction.
The can seat and serve you right away, have your order at your table promptly, the staff are friendly but not overbearing, the food is delicious - the Satay Beef Noodle Soup , Wonton Soup, and Pad Thai are my favourite dishes. Their mango smoothie is also top notch.
The complimentary fruit platter is just the cherry on top. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially people who have never tried Vietnamese food before.“

“This is our first time dining here during our stay in downtown. We both enjoy our food. The pho has a good ratio of noodles and meat, although the broth is slightly salty to me. Love the portion of the beef (more generous than others I'd in Ontario). Service is good and fast without long wait in lunch hours. Will come again if we are in the area.“

“Came late for some Vietnamese food. When we saw the menu and noticed that there was a lot of different Asian cuisine, I was a little worried, the lady was so friendly and this food was delicious.
Got the pho, broth was delish and noodles were nice and firm. Salad rolls were great too.
The vibe in there is like anostalgic '90s Chinese restaurant and it was great. Everything's clean and well taken care of. Can't wait to go back.“

“We went and had the best experience!!! I had never had Vietnamese coffee before. It was amazing!!! The food was unbelievable!! The honey walnut shrimp was such a great mix of flavours, the spring rolls,soup and vermicelli was sooo tasty 😋 My favourite was the short ribs and lemon grass chicken. I don’t think I have had food that tasted so good and so fresh!! Save room for the rolled ice cream! The key lime and it was so refreshing. We will be back!!!“

“Clean, fast, cheap, awesome. I had the new grilled pepper beef Bahn Mi, an order of taro spring rolls and a canned drink all for $15. Flavour and finish on everything was incredible. Super friendly service, quick turn around and super clean restaurant. If you’re still reading this stop, and just go already!“
