“wonderful sandwich!the bread’s crisp-crackly crust barely enclosed all the delicious contents.Ordered the crispy pork belly sandwich (#9). Skin was crackly, meat nearly melts in your mouth. Get it with all the fixings: pâté, garlic spread, pickles, coriander. I usually ask them for “less spicy”, (hold back the chili’s ) — those little peppers are FIERY.Parking: limited number of spots on the plaza“
“Our go to place for bahn mi. Try their other menu items too! Their salad rolls and vermicelli bowls are top notch. Extremely affordable pricing too; we got a vermicelli bowl, two bahn mis, salad rolls and an iced coffee for under $35. Love this place!Parking: Street parking“
“Ordered through DoorDash a few times already, and each time the food is amazing! Fresh ingredients and tastes so good. Also ordered bubble tea here, not too sweet and the bubbles are the perfect texture! Highly recommend giving this place a try!“
“Neat place for late night Pho.Had a craving for pho and it was 11pm already. Finding this place on Google really helped. Closing time is 1am.Layout is nice and welcoming. Prices are decent and the service was great. Appetizers and main course all came within 15 mins as we were the only ones there at 1130pm.Would highly recommend for a place to eat especially if you crave Asian foods past 11pm.“
“Top place for banh mi in Winnipeg- Bread: they use the actual Vietnamese baguette, which is crunchy outside but fluffy and soft inside. Many places use buns, which becomes mushy when there are sauce and pickles.- Toppings: the cold cut meats are plenty and flavourful. They do not skim on the paté. Plenty of veggies that are fresh.- Size: it a very big and heavy banh mi filled with so much toppings! I was very surprised with how big it is.- Service: They ran out of tapioca pearls but couldn’t contact me because my sim card is having an issue. The worker wrote a very lovely note apologizing (I felt bad because it was an error from my end!)Summary: great banh mi, very affordable, great service“
“A very simple dine-in or take-out restaurant. There isnt a veg sub listed, but when i had asked if there was they happily obliged. The young gent who took our order asked if it could be done and it was no problem at all.My partner got the cold-cut sub and was VERY impressed. Together our meal cost 14$, which overall was a great deal for a loaded up bahn mi. Definitely will return soon!“
“I have been coming to this family run restaurant since it first opened. I have never had a bad dish. The service is great and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. I have brought many friends and family here who now have become regulars. VP1 (pad Thai) the bbq salad rolls and crab cream cheese wontons are my 3 favourite dishes. You’ll be happy you stopped by! Don’t forget they now have a location on Regent and Plessis.“
“Excellent food quality! Great serving/portion, very good service and prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants! The BEST filipino restaurant in town! I have tried most of their food and absolutely impressed with the taste and the portion. Me and my family came many times and you never fail us with your delicious foods!! Their crispy pata is to die for! Kaldereta, bagnet kare-kare just to name a few is a must try!!EDIT: We just tried their grilled pork steak and seriously, they never fail to impress us with their food! Butter chicken is fire!!“
“This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to when we are in the south end area of the city. The variety of food choices are amazing as well as the dishes themselves. The ingredients used are always fresh, well plated, and always delicious. The atmosphere was always welcoming.“
“Food was full-flavored, consistent since the first dine-in. Appetizing as always but a little greasy. Tried the stewed beef pho and it was unique and the imgredients compliment the taste. My fave aside from the broth being greasy, but considering the generous meat.“
“Went for almost every Friday for group lunch now, portion is great and price are very reasonable. Love #31 and #41 on the menu ;)9/22/2023Had a Satay Beef Noodle soup XL today, with extra chilli and chilli oil/paste, one great economical lunch!“
“This place never fail to satisfy with a good helping of healthy food - compared to many other restaurants, tasty dishes with veggies and decent pricing makes this a restaurant that deserves the name No 1 Pho.Parking: Never a problem to find parking.Kid-friendliness: My boys like the place and the food.“
“Excellent banh mi~! Definitely some of the best you can get in the city (an opinion you might find corroborated on the news - though I don’t think I’d recommend making a special trip. Also beware they seem to sell out rather early in the day and it took three tries to catch them open with sandwiches). The combination of pickled vegetables, sweet carrots, refreshing cilantro, savory meat, rich sauce, and spice on a fresh bun come together as a symphony of flavor. Cold cut is the recommended protein option. The location is a bit inconvenient and the interior spartan, but it’s about the food, right?Banh Mi Khanh Hoa is definitely worth trying if you’re looking for good banh mi!“
“We ordered delivery service and we have normally been super happy with our orders and meals. This one must have been a bit of a miss. The spring rolls were soggy, the sweet and sour pork was soggy and small, with very few pineapple and peppers. The Pad Thai was on the burnt side.Usually very good, but this time, not so much.“
“Definitely recommend the breaded shrimp. The dry bread veal and the chicken balls. I usually don't eat chicken balls, but they're chicken balls are good with actual big pieces of chicken. Been there a few times and I think it's our new favorite restaurant for Vietnamese.“
“I just had breakfast at Raffi's. I have never eaten here before and out of convenience walking by I stopped in. Absolute best breakfast I've had in a very long time. it had an at home atmosphere, extremely welcoming. It made me want to stay and order more food just so I didn't have to leave. I can't wait for the place to open up fully for dinner. This place is going to be put into me and my wife's regular rotation for restaurants from now on. 11 and a half stars out of 10.“
“Our food was amazing. You could get well feed for $15, even cheaper if your price conscious. The pho bowl is very big and delicious, but I won't recommend crabmeat soup. The summer rolls and peanut sauce was incredibly good with deep unique flavor.“
“Incredible Pho. Excellent clear broth packed with flavour. I tried the Satay Beef Pho which had a spicy kick to it but not overpowering, just the right level of spice. Also had the wontons to start and a Vietnamese coffee, both amazing.Excellent atmosphere and helpful service topped off an amazing lunch.I highly recommend Pho Hoi An!“
“Dalat is our very favourite Asian restaurant in Winnipeg! Their ginger beef is the best! As is their wonton soup and Imperial Spring rolls. We rarely go to Winnipeg without stopping at Dalat! The owners are very friendly and food is always hot and fresh.“
“Pho Hoang is our family's go-to restaurant for celebrations and take-out. The quality of food and service has stayed excellent all these years. We love their bbq beef short ribs, vermicelli, pho and bubble tea. And the interior and decors are never boring.“
“Ordered through uber eats and food was pretty good. I had the combination vermicelli, was good but did not have enough fish sauce. The spring rolls I Aldo Ordered were good but not enough sauce for amount of spring rolls. Overall food was good “
“I really love this restaurant. The decorations makes it so traditional and makes a wonderful place to dine. The phos are great and whether their price. The restaurant provides all the traditional elements, which make the pho authentic and delicious.I shall return next time.“
“This place was very clean, the food was very good. I would definitely recommend. The owner was extremely friendly and always willing to explain or suggest what to try as it had been the first time for us going, we really did not know what to order. Food came out pretty fast. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This place was also very kid friendly, we have an 8 month old, and they had a nice high chair for her and were very eager to accommodate around her.“
“Had the Beef Pho Soup and Garden Salad Rolls. Full of great fresh ingredients and really filling. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very quick to refill drinks. Will definitely be visiting again with family and my friend that I highly recommended this great place to eat.Parking: There are ~8 parking spots on the property with possibly additional 10 spots along the streets.“
“Enjoyed a great brunch with friends this afternoon. Ordered the sweet chili lime wings, DIY salad rolls, grilled chicken and fried egg rice, and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything I ordered was delicious. The chili lime wings had a perfect crispiness and flavour. The salad rolls were really refreshing to start things off. Iced coffee was made just right - not too bitter and not too sweet. Can't wait to return and try more of their menu - wish I tried their beef carpaccio and their other pho dishes. All were reasonably priced.Being from Calgary, their service reminded me of home as it is family run. Entire restaurant is clean and well maintained from dining, to their cafe, to their restrooms. Happy to write this review to share my support for them!“
