“I’ve been such a huge critic of Bahn mi around the city cause I haven’t found a good one I’ve liked personally but wooow. This place changed everything for me. I’ll definitely be a regular.
Bread was toasty and not very chewy just the perfect texture. The bbq pork was great, warm and tender. My only critiques would be that it would nice to have a little char or caramelization on there and a little more acidity on the pickles but that’s just me. Still a 10/10. We scarfed it down right after picking it up. The pork spring rolls were also great and the bbq pork salad rolls. Wow. This place really impressed me.“

“💕Amazing lunch date today at Banh Mi King Winnipeg- Vietnamese Eatery! Everything was beyond delicious 😋 and the staff were super nice. We had milk tea, lemon grass beef sandwich, charbroiled pork sandwich and salad rolls with peanut sauce that I forgot to get a picture of lol. We will 100% be back again 👍👍“

“My fav Vietnamese restaurant in Wpg, I’ve been eating here for many years. They have the best bun bo hue in the city. Their Pho broth is rich and tasty, there’s only a few times it’s kinda bland.
Took off 1 star due to missing ingredients in bun bo hue sometimes, and to go order always come with less broth, plz add more broth for to go order.“

“Service: Always had to wait about 1 hour, had my name in the list and my table was given to someone else, essentially waiting for nothing until issue was brought up to server.
Food: Good food, long wait after being seated for the food.
Atmosphere: good at times, most of the time smoky inside (from the kitchen).“

“The lemongrass chicken with fried rice is always a stunner and my go-to. I think their fried rice might very well be the absolute best in town. Prices are incredibly affordable, servers are really nice and overall the place feels authentic, nice and cozy.“

“Consistently great bubble tea! Hands down the best taro you can get in Winnipeg. The bubbles are also included in the drinks!! I also recommend the mango, young coconut taro, and the durian. Cheap subs on the go as well. They never disappoint.“

“I’ve been coming here the last couple weeks after the spa…. Nothing feels better than a comforting bowl of pho, the staff are very speedy and polite. The gentleman always at the front/server is wonderfully polite, well put together and easy on the eyes, there was a pretty big table today and the kitchen staff came out to help deliver to keep it speedy. Keep up the incredible work guys I will definitely be back to see more of that smile“

“Really enjoyed my pho here. The interior is nicely decorated, and the vibe is clean and comfortable. The flank pho I really liked its flavor, the broth tasted authentic and was well balanced. The food was great overall, and the prices are pretty reasonable as well on the menu. A good place I’d recommend and come back to.“

“Came late for some Vietnamese food. When we saw the menu and noticed that there was a lot of different Asian cuisine, I was a little worried, the lady was so friendly and this food was delicious.
Got the pho, broth was delish and noodles were nice and firm. Salad rolls were great too.
The vibe in there is like anostalgic '90s Chinese restaurant and it was great. Everything's clean and well taken care of. Can't wait to go back.“

“We went and had the best experience!!! I had never had Vietnamese coffee before. It was amazing!!! The food was unbelievable!! The honey walnut shrimp was such a great mix of flavours, the spring rolls,soup and vermicelli was sooo tasty 😋 My favourite was the short ribs and lemon grass chicken. I don’t think I have had food that tasted so good and so fresh!! Save room for the rolled ice cream! The key lime and it was so refreshing. We will be back!!!“

“it's a great experience!!! First time to dine in at Golden Elephant Vietnamese &Thai Cuisine restaurant. I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Excellent food. “Absolutely the best Chinese around, hands down. We usually get the dinner for 4 because it comes with big portions for the price you’re paying for and it includes a variety of dishes. This time we ordered the spicy satay beef for the first time and it blew me away! It sure was spicy and super tasty.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid and have had nothing but good experiences! The staff is wonderful and are always willing to accommodate when needed. Absolutely love the food as well, and can never go wrong with coming by for the lunch specials or even just the drinks. Always order the vermicellis as they're a fave and their real fruit bubble teas are a must!“

“Im gonna be so honest. I didnt even wait 5 mins, and omg this bahn mi is pretty tasty. I know my picture doesnt look wow but let me tell you, this might be the best bang for your buck deal in winnipeg for bahn mi. Filled with usuals like carrots, cilantro, cucumber, and i believe radish alongside with the filling/meat you choose. The bread itself is perfectly toasted and fits well with everything on the sandwich itself. For a pretty decently sized bahn mi and a coke zero for 11 bucks. I would say this is forsure a deserved 5 star“
