“I love this place because of the great menu. I am lactose intolerant but eat meat. There are few places that allow you to customize items to cater both of things (generally, if places have this many alternative milk and cheeses, they are vegan - which can be great to be fair. Many places have no alternative milk for coffee). I only go during off hours though, their busy hours are too intense for me (but that’s unavoidable because they are so popular).

I have taken a star off service for the manager and owner, because they took away required tipping (this was implemented during covid) and then told me that since ppl complained about it, this was “more democratic” . It was a really stupid excuse that was worded to appeal to my (assumed) politics. I KNOW your staff isn’t getting paid enough, this decision is cruel. Red Emma’s can afford to include required tips with orders, why can’t you?“

“If you have gluten or dairy allergies, this place is Heaven! My daughter swears the staff here are magical fairies because no human can make food this good that is GF and DF! Beyond that, they also have the best customer service of anyone around! Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Everything we have had here has been amazing!“

“My husband and I stopped by for a drink, and ordered the cream of crab soup, gf fried shrimp, and the honey maple brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious! Special thanks to the bartender, Lee, who was very attentive!“

“Hard to find any faults here! Super popular for good reason. We got there around 9:30 and were anticipating a wait, but we were seated within a few minutes. It’s a big space, but not too noisy. The food was incredible! I don’t think you can go wrong. I’d for sure go again and again!“

“I've been here several times with friends, and every experience has been great! Not only is the customer service fantastic (very attentive, willing to check in on you, knowledgeable staff, etc), they have a nice variety of liquor and wines that are easy to find in the shop based on region. Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. They also sell some food in the shop which I haven't tried yet but I'm sure it's good!“

“Just drove 45 minutes to pick up the best Tres Leches cake in Baltimore! The staff was warm and friendly and we couldn't resist sitting for a fresh coffee and amazingly delicious cronuts!“

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. “Of all of the Atwaters in MD this one is my favorite. It has so much charm and it is quaint. It is great for solo or group breakfast or lunch. I really love that they change their beverages with the season. They also offer local jams/preserves, pastries, kombucha and kimchi. It is easy to drift away here with a latte and book for hours.“

“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

“This place made my whole day better. Brooke the barista was awesome and kind, the vibe of the place was chill and retro, the bathroom was super cleans, and THE FOOD! I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage and bacon on chiabatta and I cannot speak highly enough of the preparation. The meat is super high quality and each half of the sandwich has its own real egg, its own sausage patty and three pieces of bacon. The bread was crispy and delicious. It was worth every single penny. The warm words of encouragement from Brooke for my upcoming cancer treatment was definitely an added perk! Seven and a half stars out of five, will be back soon.“
