“Was in search of lunch and I hit the jackpot at the Sterling Tavern! I sat at the small downstairs bar and the bartender was immediately attentive and helpful. Opted for the Oyster Rockefeller Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Crispy deep fried oysters, flavorful Rockefeller mix, and a perfectly medium burger and the house made chips were a great accompaniment. Highly recommend!“

“We went through the drive through to get a milkshake and a Mc flurry. They gave us an M&M instead of the Oreo that we ordered. At first we sent it back, but then decided not to waste it, so we took it. The girl in the pick up window was very gracious and offered us a cup of oreos, which we declined, but she was very nice and had great customer service skills.“

“We ordered the family sized chicken dinner for takeout and also received donut holes with dipping sauces all for about as much as it normally costs my husband and I to go out to eat alone! The portions were so generous for our family of 5 that we even have leftovers for tomorrow! The food was really delicious, and much more affordable than fast food. “This place is always packed, so we stopped in to try it. The burgers are absolutely amazing! I would go so far to say it was the best burger I've ever had. If I'm not wearing some of my sandwich, then it wasn't good, and these were dripping. I believe it was two quarter pound patties, so it was a big burger. The restaurant is clean, and the service was excellent. My only complaint is the high top tables have very small seats that we kept sliding off. We moved to a regular table with bigger chairs and the problem was solved. The prices are reasonable and the portions large. I'm looking forward to going back.Parking: Limited street parking“

“Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!“

“Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance! This place has outstanding fresh seafood. We had a fantastic lunch served by a fun and friendly waitress. I highly recommend the shrimp sliders and the raw oysters! Another plus is the dog-friendly patio with outdoor dining.“

“We are out-of-towners and chose this restaurant because it was across the street from our hotel and we could order takeout online. We placed our order and shortly after the manager or owner called apologizing that they were out of an item we ordered online. (They were extremely busy and couldn't turn off online ordering). He offered me to order whatever I wanted to make things right, I asked for an app and desert. He even offered a drink on the house. When my husband picked up the food he said everyone there was so nice. Our food was incredible, the breading on the fried food was delicious and crispy, the salad was fresh, and the mozzarella sticks were gigantic and so good. We will definitely return to this restaurant the next time we are back in Ocean City!“

“My drinking friends and I found this place last summer after we left the bearded clam. We wanted some food and looked at their menu and went in side to try. They were so amazing there and personal. We had delicious orange crushes, and appetizers. Everything we had was wonderful crab dip, Everything crabcakes are good burgers, a good everything. The bartender was excellent and informative about the business. They ended up, giving us a bunch of bumper stickers and sent us on our way, and I definitely will be coming back.!!!“
