“I get very picky with Korean food because I know what authentic Korean food tastes like. Having said that, Sogongdong@Frederick is equal if not better than many Korean restaurants in Korea serving tofu soup. In fact any dish Sogongdong House serves (eg bibimbab or japchae) tastes authentic- so you can choose with confidence.Pricing is really competitive, since I don't have to go back Korea to taste home food hehe. At this price it is a no-brainer for quality food. So when I get tired of the local food with simple x-y axis of sweet and salty as the only dimensions of flavor, I come here to do a palate indulgence and remind myself of the depth of flavor I am capable of appreciating. Seafood tofu soup is amazing. If I don't pay attention I end up sipping the soup and cross my eyes to stare into the abyss of warmth that my soul envelops around. Service is great- you can walk over to the stall and ask for a bit more kimchi and they will gladly top it up. Ambience is very casual as it is a food court, great for in-promptu family dinner and the kids are hugely entertained by a korean stationery store and robo-picker games. It also helps that there is sushi, fried chicken and dumplings from other stalls as well, making this place a one-stop world-cuisine.“

“The Alfredo Montamore with parmesean chicken, Mac&Cheese, and cheesy garlic bread were delicious. However, the Alfredo was not hot and cooled off quickly. I would have given 5 stars if the pasta was hot.The service was friendly and prompt.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Hands down, the best and most authentic Thai food in Frederick! I've tried many over the years and this unassuming gem reminded me of my visit to Thailand years ago. Ordered beef panang, green curry and apps like curry puffs and egg rolls. Everything was superb. Ingredients were fresh, dishes bursting with flavor. I went home happy.“

“Visited this restaurant first time today. Did not expect much but it is possibly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Maryland. My wife is Vietnamese and we moved from Houston a few short years ago where there is a large Vietnamese population. We also visit Eden Center in VA from time to time. We know our way around Vietnamese foods. ? We ordered Bún bò Huế and Pho. Both were delicious. Portions were large and had lots of meats. Prices were on par with Texas, which is amazing for MD. We also had Goi Cuon which was very fresh. We had such a good meal that we ordered a Banh Mi to go. We forgot to take pictures of that visit.Pictures added from our 2nd visit, showing Grill Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli and Seafood Pan Fried Noodles.“
