Been going here for years! Have never been disappointed with my food. People running the store are very nice, too.
Dated interior, only gripe was lack of meat in the steak and cheese and upcharge for fried rice (which is just oil, onions, and labor. No peas, no carrots, no egg).
Their mumbo sauce chicken and fried rice reminds me of my childhood. I was born and raised in dc. Grew eating the sweet red mumbo sauce that will stain your fingers. I stumbled upon this place and enjoyed my food. The only thing I would inform you to do is to ask for the mumbo to be added to your chicken and rice if you'd like and to have them add extra.

Eastern Restaurant offers delectable Chinese cuisine, with the Best General Tso's Chicken in the area and perfectly cooked Chicken Fried Rice. The Crispy Spring Rolls are crunchy and hot, while the Hot & Sour Soup is hearty, and the Mei Fun is freshly prepared. The service is always nice and considerate.
