“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. My go-to is a wrap with spinach as the base, feta, olives, cucumbers, and chickpeas as the toppings, Beyond sausage (you have to pay extra for this) as the protein, and raspberry vinaigrette as the dressing.

“We’ve been to Toby’s multiple times. Recently we saw rock of ages but we have gone to plays like: elf, mamma Mia, a Christmas story, beauty and the beast, and shrek. Every time it’s an amazing performance with delicious food. The talent is insane! However, this past time we were a party of 3 and placed at a circle table. Sitting in the back of the table allowed for another party of 3 to be sat with us. My dad had an obstructed view of the stage the entire time and was constantly leaning different ways to see. I’m hopeful the new theater will have options so all parties can see well. If you are a party of 3 I would suggest inviting a 4th to try to get a better option of a table!“

I also had the butter naan and a mango lassi with my meal. I really enjoy Indian food and this location is very convenient and close to my home. The mashed potatoes had great flavor as did the veggies - my steak was a tad overdone but it was so tasty it didn’t matter. Crab cake was filled with delicious lump crab! And it had flavor too — I also tried the Korean short ribs on special and they were just SO GOOD! The drinks are also delicious! And I stare at the dessert case every time I come in but I’m always too full to order anything. I guarantee they’re also to die for! Great place!!“

The beverages were all great (coffee martini, cucumber spritz, Turkish mule.) we had a couple of appetizers (spinach pie and Turkish pizza with ground lamb), again both delicious. Trying to leave room for the generous servings was difficult; especially since we wanted to try dessert!! The lamb and chicken were both tender and cooked to perfection whether it was on a kebab or in the mixed grill. The menu sometimes has a new item added, but we normally share wings and another dish.
The 10-piece wings can be split into two different choices of flavors that are all good.
My husband tried the 2 plate taco which he selected the fish and birria beef.
They were packed Sunday evening, but the wait was only 20 minutes.“
