Rise Up is increasingly the best coffee MD has to offer! Each location is locally owned and all are friends and associates of the franchise founding family! Beans are ethically sourced, quality, and roasted by the company itself. The drink choices are reasonably priced, diverse, and the seasonal offerings are the best. The staff here is always friendly and fast, and they remember names and orders like nobody's business. The burritos are really good and the made-to-order breakfast sandwiches are slammin. Get the red pepper jelly on it ?Coffee is always good and the vibe is clean and modern. There's not a ton of seating inside but it cycles out fairly consistently. Also, get the breakfast tots. Just do it!

Rise Up (and Ceremony) are my go to coffee spots in the Annapolis area. Can get pretty slammed in the morning, so using their online ordering system is the move, especially if you're ordering food. Their coffee is excellent, but don't sleep on the breakfast burritos. I wouldn't say this is a coffee shop you'd want to spend a few hours at reading or studying, the inside has seating, but again it can get pretty hectic.
