She was still in her gear and medals from the Competition and everyone was saying congratulations to her! This absolutely made my 9 year olds day even more special, when they brought her a tray with desert and congratulations on your great day written on the paper! I am glad we stopped in on the way home to Virginia! Thank you all! oh the deserts were great!”

“Excellent place. The falafel wrap was outstanding chock full of falafel with the requisite salad, hummus and tehini. Even better when you add some hot pepper mix for a little spice. Spouse enjoyed the falafel platter which included a side of pita. Their fries were great, very crunchy. Their food is very authentic to various middle eastern countries that I have visited. The place is comfy, booths and a few tables. Service was quick and excellent. The owner is Palestinian and surely deserves our support. We highly recommend!”

“Amazing food. Attentive staff. This place serves a delicious variety of Mexican foods, beverages, and the best flan I have ever tasted. Our favorites include Tlayudas with pork, Bistec con Salsa Pasilla, Pastor Tacos. You really can’t go wrong. The offer tasty aguas frescas, tasty libations, and that creamy flan I mentioned above. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Angel is a gentleman, and listens carefully in order to customize your experience. I really kind of hate to let everyone know about this hideaway in Wheaton, but I can’t stop bragging on them!”

“Listen, to be quite honest if I could give this bar 17 stars I would. The bars of yesteryear, you can come in get yourself a nice tall boy and a shot and not spend over $40 are gone. But this place still holds on to the best kind of neighborhood bar tradition. The food here does what it needs to do. The drinks are always on time, and the service makes you feel like you just got home from college. I’ll never talk bad about Stained Glass.”

I stopped by for gas after a run, saw the taco stand, and thought “why not?” Little did I know I was about to have one of the best tacos in the state.
