We wanted to try this place since it was within walking distance of Port Discovery. When we walked in, it was completely empty, yet the host remained seated and didn’t stand to greet us. Overall, the staff gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there.
We noticed a sign stating that an 18% gratuity is added to parties of six or more. We politely asked whether children were included in that count, as some restaurants don’t include kids during daytime dining...read full review
Visiting from Florida and we decided to pop in for lunch. We are so happy we did. Gerald was our server and he was fantastic. We never needed to ask for refills service was quick and he was extremely knowledgeable of the menu when we asked questions. We love the decor of the place. Gerald even gave us a bit of a history lesson on the building. We ordered 2 snow crab boils. The flavor was amazing. We will definitely be returning on our next Baltimore trip!

Crafty Crab - Baltimore Inner Harbor offers a variety of seafood dishes and a lively atmosphere. Guests enjoy the seafood boil bags, especially the snow crabs, shrimp, and Blue crabs, which are praised for their flavor. However, some dishes like the seafood pasta can be mushy, with the seafood itself being good but the pasta too soft to eat comfortably. The restaurant is known for its friendly staff, with servers like Ron and Gerald providing attentive, knowledgeable, and kind service, making the experience memorable. Customers also appreciate the decor and the quick service. The happy hour features affordable $6 cocktails and $4 shots, offering good value in downtown Baltimore. Despite the warm temperature inside due to the lack of air conditioning, visitors find the overall experience enjoyable. Parking can be expensive at $25, and the bathrooms are located in the basement, which can be inconvenient. Overall, Crafty Crab provides great seafood, friendly service, and a vibrant setting, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
