Platinum Amala, located at 112 N. Eutaw St. inside Lexington Market in Baltimore, offers incredible and delicious meals. The food is absolutely delicious, with rich and authentic flavors. Customers highly recommend the egusi and fufu, which is a 10 out of 10 with perfectly soft fufu. The Fried Fish Platter, featuring crispy, meaty, and flavorful fried whiting with yellow rice and cabbage, is a must-get. The Egusi Soup, made from ground melon seeds, is excellent, as is the Beef Stew with large beef chunks and an excellent tomato-based, mildly spicy sauce. Other menu items include the Amala Zobo Drink, which is flavorful, sweet, and tasty, and Puff Puff, fried dough pastries with cinnamon sugar. The jollof rice lunch special with egusi and added turkey leg is well seasoned and incredibly favorable. The spicy goat and jollof rice with plantains has a nice smokiness with tender goat. The customer service is on point, with a friendly and polite owner. The restaurant is wheelchair and differently abled persons friendly. Parking is rough, but paid parking is available.
