“Best Wedding Food EVER!! Delicious, gorgeous, impeccable service! We hired Corcoran for our catering, alcohol, wedding cake, and all of our rentals. They built the most incredible menu for us and the food was the most delicious wedding food I have ever tasted! Everyone at our wedding was blown away by both the food and the service. Emelie is a dream to work with and was so responsive to changes and questions. She sought out rentals to ensure my exact vision came to life. Her team is amazing and everyone who was on site was so friendly, helpful, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Corcoran! If you are considering the as your caterer - DO IT! You cannot go wrong! Emelie went above and beyond to honor our requests. From having the chef learn a new recipe to honor our brother who passed away, to having alcohol free sauces made for our sober guests, I was blown away with her service and ability to accommodate any request! I don't have all of my photos back yet, so just sharing a couple showing the rentals which all came from Corcoran.“

“😍I have to take a moment to give B. Lin Catering (DC) their flowers—because WOW. They catered my daughter’s Sweet 16, and I’m honestly still thinking about the food. I can’t decide who loved it more: the teenage girls (with their very sophisticated palates, thank you very much 😄) or my husband. The birthday girl felt like a true princess, the sleepover was a hit, and the food? Gone. Quickly. The flavor is indescribable. The chipotle chicken was incredibly tender, and the chimichurri skirt steak literally melted in your mouth. Multiple girls said, unprompted, “This is way better and much more flavorful than Chipotle.” When teenagers agree on something, you know it’s real. It should honestly be a crime to make meat, chips, guac, and corn salsa taste that good. Shout-out to the delivery driver too—early, professional, friendly, and even gave helpful tips on how to set everything up. Those little touches make a huge difference when you’re hosting a house full of teenagers. If you’re in DC and need catering for a birthday, family event, or just because you want your guests to talk about the food long after it’s gone—B. Lin Catering is it. We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly, highly recommend.“

“We got married on Friday, December 13th 2024 at The Cloisters Castle and we could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Putting on the Ritz as our caterer. They were heavily involved from the early planning stages until the event to make sure all our needs were met and to make sure our event went off with no issues. We had a ton of compliments around how good the food was, and we were just super happy with everything. I highly recommend splurging a little extra for the hot chocolate/cider bar, especially if you're getting married in the colder months - this was the highlight of the event! They even accommodated my special cocktail request. We just loved working with them and they were amazing in every way - no complaints at all, everything went smoothly and the food was delicious!“

She was extremely responsive throughout and had great solutions to ensure the food was delivered safely to our guests. “We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“Shout out to Big Moe's Catering!! They catered our work luncheon, with all of the Covid protocols that made it much easier for us. Each staff member had individual meals with a dessert. The turkey wings, fried chicken, salmon, pork chops, masked potato's, greens, string beans, and mac n cheese were delicious. Every one had an empty container. The food was delivered on time and the communication was excellent. I would order from them again.“

“Avenues of the Caribbean is a top notch caterer which I chose recently for a large Haitian-themed birthday party. I was initially impressed by the well- organized web site.
The owner, Jennifer Paul, worked personally with me over a month to ensure that every delicacy requested by the guest of honor would make it to the buffet table. She even prepared and delivered an “sampling dinner” so we knew what flavors to expect.
At the party, every guest raved about how delicious the food was, and there were many comments about how certain dishes brought back fond memories of their own mothers’ home cooking!

“What a fun night! We booked the Mushroom Lovers Menu cooking class through CozyMeal. Chef Laura was an excellent teacher and host. We honed our knife skills chopping up veggies for the soup, stuffed mushrooms, and sauce. We learned all about different types of mushrooms and how to clean and cook them. So many things to learn! And in the end, the meal was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers to take home along with the recipes.“
“I gave a presentation at the J.P CHase Building and PinkE's Eats catered for 30 people! The amount of food looked like enough for at least 50! What can I say?? EVERYTHiNG was fabulous!! Shrimp and creamy grits like I have never tasted, fried chicken, scrambled eggs with a flare, delicious bacon cooked perfectly, waffles with brown maple sugar crunch inside them-no syrup REALLY needed, greens-yum, mac & cheese the BEST, luscious salad and other delectables I can't even remember. I cannot wait for them to open the restaurant in Woodley Park this year. For now I plan to have lunches at my office catered by them. Great young brother and sister chefs/owners. o proud of them. “Elegancia really delivered. Our wedding couln’t have functioned without them. Not only did they cater our food, Talmom advised us on the entirery of the reception, where he had catered before, and helped put up decorations and other things that other caterers wouldn’t have done. On top of that, they did their best to help us save money. They clearly have a lot of experience and that was an invaluable resource.They tell you something will always go wrong during your wedding. Little did I know that it was going to be balsamic vinager on my wedding dress. Their staff immediately noticed my spill and jumped to clean it up. As our chef, Rodrigo, was making sure I was eating, three staff ladies were clearing up any visible stain and made my dress look untouched. Elegancia made sure that not only our guests had a great time but that we (my now husband and I) had a fantastic, memorable, and care-free day. I had a lot of people come up to me and talk about how well taken care of they also felt and it was all due to Elegancia staff.Thank you for a beautiful day to remember.“

The online group ordering system is incredibly simple and a huge time-saver. It completely eliminates the hassle of collecting cash and dealing with messy, hard-to-read orders, which ensures everyone gets exactly what they want.
Beyond the seamless ordering process, the food itself is a major highlight. It's always delicious and fairly priced, and everyone on our team is always thrilled with what they get in their lunch boxes. “We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“

“We hired Catering by Uptown for our wedding at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! The team was so easy to work with and made the entire process smooth from start to finish.
Even though our venue doesn’t have a kitchen, the Catering by Uptown crew did an amazing job keeping the food warm and serving each course right on time. Everything came out delicious and perfectly paced! Veronica, Marcie, and the drinks manager were all wonderful — friendly, professional, and great communicators with our wedding planner.
We were really impressed and would definitely recommend Catering by Uptown for anyone planning an event at the Torpedo Factory or anywhere else in the area!“
