“I stopped here to try their gluten-free cakes. If you're GF you know how hard it is to fine edible GF cakes. I tried 2 on the bundtettes.Lemon-blueberry lavender- the cake is light and crumbly without being powdery (yay) texture wise this cake was wonderful. But, if you are the type where lavender can turn "soapy" this isn't for you. I am one of these people unfortunately so I won't get this one again.Red Velvet - oh my goodness this was divine. It did not taste like a gluten-free product. It tasted exactly like a normal flour cake. It was rich, moist and probably rates as one of the best red velvet cakes I've ever had. Even the icing was the perfect ratio. I wish I got more to take home lol“

“I had a great experience with 5-12! They were able to create an Indian-like design based on a few photos I sent them. The cake was the perfect size for our small party of four and was beautifully finished. I also really appreciate 5-12 making an extra trip out to their pickup site so I could get the cake at a more convenient time for me. My only other feedback was the cake was slightly on the sweet side and was a little dry by the time it was served. Regardless, 5-12 is definitely on my list of go-to custom cake places in the DC area.“

I was greeted, walked through the process, given tons of samples and they even loaded the car for me so the cake that I ordered would transport safely.This place is almost 40 minutes away from where I live, but totally worth the trip! Cotton not only squeezed me in for delivery, but made the MOST INSANELY GORGEOUS CAKE for my celebration. My friends legitimately thought I ordered a wedding cake for the celebration. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious. The details on the cake were immaculate. Every small piece was edible. It was delivered at the exact time scheduled.
