We drove from DC since that location was closed! Friendly atmosphere neighborhood restaurant feel! I enjoyed the food , I had the goat stew , very flavorful.. Friendly waitstaff would go again when I have the opportunity!
I generally go to DC its closed due to renovations. Good food

Swahili Village in Beltsville, MD offers an amazing restaurant experience with incredible food and service. The customer service is amazing, with staff like Princess, Clifton, Effie, Chi Chi, and Janae providing top notch service. Princess is an amazing server who makes sure food comes out right and gives delicious drink recommendations; she also makes signature drinks that are sooooooooo good. Manager Clifton offered a seat in the waiting area when a guest arrived early, and Effie was respectful and knowledgeable of the cuisine. Chi Chi went out of her way to ensure guests and even small children were well taken care of. The food is also really really good, with recommendations including the basket (with samosas), chicken wings grilled with spicy sauce (A1), beef suya, Bhaija, samosas for appetizer, grilled red snapper, and oxtail. The cocktail menu has interesting and diverse choices, and bartender Jordan was knowledgeable. This is probably the best restaurant in Beltsville, and guests highly recommend trying Swahili Village.
