“The Haymaker is a great cocktail bar and has some of the best and hardest working bartenders in DC. When we arrived, the bar counter seats were almost full. Three cocktails in and the whole place was packed with 90/95% having cocktails, our refills still came quickly. Why only 4 star? They have changed the food menu and not for the better. The dumplings are still great. We also had the quesadilla. My wife liked it, I thought it was generic. We both thought the loaded tots were a major fail, the 'load', what little there was of it, had all fallen off and was in the bottom of the bowl. The draft beer choice is also weak, with Goose Island being their premium beer. I hope they change up their menu for the better.“

Jess was fantastic from start to finish, helping us create the perfect event and menu while staying within our budget. The upstairs of the restaurant was set up beautifully for our party, complete with a photo slideshow of us playing on the TVs, which added a nice personal touch. The dinner was delicious, and our rehearsal dinner guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the roasted chicken was! After the sit-down dinner, Jess and her team seamlessly transitioned the space into a more casual area where the rest of our guests could mix and mingle, complete with an open bar and light snacks. “Was staying at this hotel for one night and even though I had planned to go out I decided to stay on the property instead. King Farm Grill is the main restaurant at the Sheraton. The menu offers plenty of American cuisine options. Had the tomato and mozarella salad along with the turkey club sandwich. The tomatoes were not ripe enough but the mozzarella and balsamic were good. The turkey club was also delicious. This restaurant is a good choice if you are staying here. Service was very attentive and the bar serves lots of different spirits. It's fine for a "stay in" meal.“
