“So, here's the thing...feeling welcomed as soon as you walk in to a place you have never been before means so much. My husband and I were visiting DC. We were checking out places to eat near our hotel. We stopped in at Tune Inn. It was packed! The bar and all tables were full. The bartender welcomed us right away even though he was super busy. He told us to order a beer and hang out...the next table was ours. He handed us a happy hour drink menu and we did just that. Our waitress was on the ball. She was handling more tables than humanly possible but she made it look easy. Food was delicious!!!! An excellent find on our trip and obviously busy for a reason.“

“The Haymaker is a great cocktail bar and has some of the best and hardest working bartenders in DC. When we arrived, the bar counter seats were almost full. Three cocktails in and the whole place was packed with 90/95% having cocktails, our refills still came quickly. Why only 4 star? They have changed the food menu and not for the better. The dumplings are still great. We also had the quesadilla. My wife liked it, I thought it was generic. We both thought the loaded tots were a major fail, the 'load', what little there was of it, had all fallen off and was in the bottom of the bowl. The draft beer choice is also weak, with Goose Island being their premium beer. I hope they change up their menu for the better.“

Jess was fantastic from start to finish, helping us create the perfect event and menu while staying within our budget. The upstairs of the restaurant was set up beautifully for our party, complete with a photo slideshow of us playing on the TVs, which added a nice personal touch. The dinner was delicious, and our rehearsal dinner guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the roasted chicken was! After the sit-down dinner, Jess and her team seamlessly transitioned the space into a more casual area where the rest of our guests could mix and mingle, complete with an open bar and light snacks. The bartenders, Jess and Max, were absolute pros—our guests certainly kept them busy and they did an amazing job keeping us and everyone happy throughout the night. Jess and the team at Moreland’s Tavern made our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks unforgettable. As our neighbors up the street, we are so glad Moreland’s was a part of our wedding weekend as a favorite neighborhood spot we can revisit again and again. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great event venue with top-notch service!“

“Your beef steaks have a lot to be desired. Visiting from a state that grows a lot of beef your steaks are served just barely warm in the center with a slit sear on the outside. Unacceptable for a 40 dollar steak. I can't recommend your restaurant for a steak“

“My friend and I were in town for this past weekend and ended up here multiple nights. They definitely treat you like family here. We met Marte, danced with Jamal and just had a great experience from the wings and fries was delicious, the orange mint vanilla hookah was amazing, drinks were great and fairly priced. We stayed at an air b&b up the road and we could walk to this spot. We were supposed to go back yesterday but we were too tired as we kicked it multiple days til the wee hours. The music varies depending upon their different nights! It’s an amazing establishment and woman owned! Please check it out if you’re in town. I wish I would’ve grabbed pictures.“

“Was staying at this hotel for one night and even though I had planned to go out I decided to stay on the property instead. King Farm Grill is the main restaurant at the Sheraton. The menu offers plenty of American cuisine options. Had the tomato and mozarella salad along with the turkey club sandwich. The tomatoes were not ripe enough but the mozzarella and balsamic were good. The turkey club was also delicious. This restaurant is a good choice if you are staying here. Service was very attentive and the bar serves lots of different spirits. It's fine for a "stay in" meal.“
