“They sell some super delicious sandwiches here wow! I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it is a delicacy. The bad thing is that it was very greasy but it was a delight, the restaurant is almost always empty and I honestly don't know why a place with such delicious food can be like this.“

“Quick, pleasant, and otherwise attentive, staff members at Colada Shop on The Wharf are consummate professionals. Even when I haven’t yet ordered, and am in line, staff prepares my order [they know my preferences] and swiftly checks me out. Coffee and food are delicious. Wonderful.“

“I am struggling to figure out why this place does not have a 4.5+ on yelp....a true hidden gem! We DoorDashes from the Colada Shop to try it on a whim and wow...were we taken by surprise. In my experience it's common to not get the best service through food delivery apps, so our expectations were not set high for this at all. However they blew us away! We tried... The Cuban sandwich, and it was a pretty good standard cuban! The Guava Bbq sandwich was sooo good! The guava really made the sandwich something special! The Chicken empanadas...amazing! Perfectly cooked & seasoned. The sauce they came with was the cherry on top! A Breakfast empanadas were a hit with my husband! He absolutely devoured them! The Churros were so light and fluffy! The fry was perfect! & the Tres leche was an amazing way to finish! Light and delicious!!! We will definitely be going in person! Best door dash find ever!!!!“

“Went here on a relaxing afternoon; I definitely wanted to check out this place since I heard good things about their coffee. Located in the Mosaic District, it's right across from my favorite beauty store Sephora. I think the place is very small but there are many tables to sit down at once you get your food/drinks. I can see it being a great place to hang out or grab a quick bite before the next big event. There's a touch screen outside if you want to order from there too and I think that adds more ease if you don't feel like stepping into the store. That's a plus on convivence. I got the Mojito Cold Brew consisting of Cold Brew Coffee, Mint, Lime, Cuban Crema. I honestly think that it was a very unique taste as I could taste more of the mint than the crema itself but not much of the lime either. It was a very strong cold brew and it would probably wake you up if you like bitter drinks. It was a seasonal drink for the Spring so I had to try it out. I also got three empanadas too! The Spicy Cauliflower Empanada, Chicken Empanada, and the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Empanada. The Spicy Cauliflower wasn't really spicy at all, it had a slight kick but there a lot of Cauliflower to chew. Very soft, I think people who love this would be thrilled there is an option for them. The Chicken Empanada was filled, and each bite there were juices leaking out of the Empanada. I really liked this one. The Bacon, Egg, Cheese Empanada? Absolutely the best out of the three. I would just come back just to order three of these. It reminds me of a hot pocket but wayyyyyy better. Give this place a try if you are in the area!“

“Food was authentic and extremely good. The drinks were spot on also, I'd drive hours just to go back. I will say the host/ess was not friendly or inviting which caused us to worry about the service. In that respect our waiter was friendly and outstanding!Vegetarian options: I think they can make most dish vegetarian but it would be nice to have some type of vegetarian/vegan dish that would be somewhat authentic.Dietary restrictions: Accommodating as they can be.“

“Had a classic mojito. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Also had the assorted apps platter which included a ham croquette, a beef empanada, shredded pork, fried chicken, crispy plantains, and yuca. Everything pretty much tasted the same, no distinct flavor. Added some salt and asked for some type of hot sauce and that made things slightly better. I had a light snack this day for lunch, but I would go back and try some other classics in hopes the flavor profile is more pronounce.“

“Lovely hole in the wall spot with good service, cute decorated interior. Had a mojito while waiting for the food. For apps we tried the croquetas de jamón serrano which were good, and some squid. For my entree ordered the palomilla steak which was delicious. They let me sub out the plantain for a side salad since I’m not a fan of those. The portion was a good size, had to take the rest home. We ordered a bottle of Malbec to pair with our food, only downside was they didn’t have an extensive wine list. I’d definitely come back.“
