The atmosphere is calm and the perfect spot to dine in your car! The lady who works here is incredibly kind and personable and always asks about our kids and says hi when they’re with us. We look forward to the entire experience each time!“

Their pupusas, especially the cheese and bean ones, are my absolute favorite. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care. “Outstanding! I am up here for work from Florida, and as many times as I have been to Frederick, I can't believe I have not eaten here sooner. The atmosphere is wonderful! There is nothing better than the smell of smoked BBQ filling the air. Ample parking, and I love the location. The food is fantastic! I had the potato salad, sweet potatoes, and 2 meats (Arkansas Brisket which are burnt tips and Hot Links). The platter comes with pickled onions, pickles, and cornbread. It did not disappoint. Plus the original BBQ which comes with it, had an interesting flavor. Sweet and vinegary, with a little heat, which was nice. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good BBQ.“

“My wife and I had a delicious meal , as always. We were served by Allison , her service was excellent and very efficient. As an employee , I hope she is appreciated.“

“Everything was great overall! We were greeted almost immediately after sitting down, honestly the fastest we’ve ever been greeted here. The first server who stopped by let us know he was just getting us started while our actual server was on her way in, and he was very kind and attentive. He even took the time to check on the table next to us and let them know the same.

Our server arrived shortly after, and the wait wasn’t long at all. She was friendly, attentive, and quick, despite explaining that she had an emergency before coming into work (over heard from the table next to us). The table next to us seemed frustrated, but she handled it professionally and kept things moving. Our food came out on time, everything was correct, and overall our experience with her was phenomenal.

However, I did witness something that took away from the experience. The table next to us flagged down another server, and when they asked for help, that server (Triniti) responded in a way that felt really unprofessional. She said things like, “I don’t even know who your server is,” and after being told, responded with, “Oh, I don’t even talk to her that much, I don’t know.” This was said within earshot while the table was already upset, which didn’t help the situation at all and reflected poorly on the team dynamic.

As a former server myself, I know how important teamwork is in a restaurant, especially when guests are already frustrated. It was disappointing to hear that kind of response.

Because of that interaction alone, I’m giving 4 stars, everything else, especially our server and the food, was excellent. I’d strongly encourage reinforcing teamwork among staff, because that moment didn’t match the otherwise great experience.“
