“I'm not much of a review writer but I knew I had to after my meal. I walked to the register and told him I might need a minute since I've never been here. The man at the cash register described every item on the menu in detail. I went with a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, and fries (simple order for a first timer). When my order was ready the man that bagged it thanked me for coming in and gave me a free sandwich card and some blueberry dessert. He described the smoking and cooking process they use and described every sauce and gave me every one to take with me. He thanked me again and I went home. Everything was delicious including the blueberry dessert that I didn't order.Like I said, I'm not much of a review writer. However I had to write this because the staff is amazing and the food is amazing. I will be back very soon.“
“The bread was super fresh! Steaks were prepared correctly, our waiter was so understanding and calm on a very busy night, and compared to other restaurants I've been, I would say pick here over anywhere else if you want a top notch experience!“
“Last weekend my husband and I ordered the Hog Wangs with their delicious bourbon BBQ sauce. The "wings" were cooked perfectly!! It wasn't too salty either. We also shared the Texas Twinkie..MAAAANNNNN!!!!! That was no joke!!! It's a perfect balance of sweet and savory... absolutely delicious ????Mike is a very down to earth, welcoming kind of guy!!We will be back!!!!!“
“We went last night for the first time..The place was clean, the workers were very helpful and friendly! The food we ordered..lasagna and the pizza was HONESTLY the best we have ever eaten. It is now our very favorite place and we will be there often!Parking: Easy“
“My husband and I absolutely love coming here! Everyone is great and treats us like family. If we can, we ask to be seated in Jamie’s section. He and my husband, Jason, have so much in common and it feels like we have known him for a life time.. everyone enjoys our one year old and always plays peekaboo with him! He loves the busser ( I think his name is Francisco), he is able to distract our son long enough for me to get a couple bites of my food! 100/10 !Kid-friendliness: Every staff member that we have encountered has always been great with our son! Whether it is playing peekaboo, giving a high five or blowing a kiss back to him.. they are always welcoming and willing to help in any way!“
“Inside Country Mart attached to Exxon. Yep gas station restaurant. Has seating. Order at food counter and take receipt to store register like Wawa and Filling Co except not kiosk automated. Talk with real human who tells you that everything is made in-house and whose great at the upsell. Thats why there’s also a pie pic bc she said it was the last one and made by the pit master. There’s a pit master. About those Texas Twinkies, man did those taste super good going in. Brown sugar bacon was allowed to really shine bc other components were satisfyingly mild. The sprinkle of shredded cheese, smear of cream cheese, cooked pepper and meat inside gave texture depth to the sweet and savory bacon. The twinkies are heavy. Some kind of fresh veg or salad would pair well digestively. Only sold on weekends? Slice of pie $9, Twinkies $8 piece. Name is a clumsy portmanteau of chicken cow pork fish.“
