“Put aside your first impressions re. Curry Cuisine being part of the gas station. The service could not be quicker, nor friendlier than all the people at Curry Cuisine.But the real kudos go to the food. The Mixed Kebabs was the best I've ever had - here or in India. The lamb and chicken were so tender, and the sauce had just a hint of hot, but mostly delicious. And order a Mango Lassi for like none other than you've ever had, without the cloying sweetness of the many others I have tried elsewhere. We also enjoyed the Palak Chatt - a bit different than elsewhere, but a wonderful combination of fried spinach, tomato, potato, onion, and garbanzos with a wonderful semi-sweet sauce.Overall, I highly recommend, and we will be back, even though it's a bit of a trek from Falls Church.oh, and the wonderfully sweet little lagniappe of rice pudding at the end was small, but just right ending.“

“We ordered online as we drove in from Charleston. It was very easy. When we arrived, we walked our dog on the little lawn next to the patio. The servers came right out and gave love to our Tavish and offered us outside seating. ??. The pizza was delicious. My husband got pepperoni and mushroom and I got chicken and white sauce. We also had a salad and the battered veggies. All of it was delicious and the wait staff are amazing. We will definitely be back each time we come to Winchester ?“

“Dined here twice. Both times the food was excellent. The shrimp tikka masala and Saag Paneer that we ordered (with Indian hot spice level) were excellent. The saag paneer’s texture was amazing and there was depth to that flavor. The naans were excellent too, especially bullet naan. It was spicy. Highly recommend this place!“

“We were in Winchester for a meeting and decided to try Taqueria Guadalajara for lunch. We're originally from California now living in Northern VA so I'm very picky with Mexican food. This restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, it's one of the most authentic Mexican food places. Definitely NOT Tex-Mex! I had menudo and hubby had barbacoa sopes and they were excellent (see pictures). I met two families here who were also from Southern California! You've got to try it here!“

“We have enjoyed Benny’s at many different locations but this one was great. I called ahead one day to have a large pizza picked up right before the NFL playoff first round. I figured I would still be waiting on such a high demand day. However, I walked in 10 min early and my pizza was hot and ready to go home for the game. The pizza was delicious…especially the crust. I will always use Benny’s as my pizza source where available.“

“Needed a break from interstate travel, and Winchester provided sweet respite. Appreciated the walking downtown mall, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and watering holes. This menu offered good variety, and as we could eat outside on a beautiful early evening in spring, we chose the patio. Server was great, and her recommendations were sold. Good local beer list, and the best braised Brussels sprouts I've had in a long time. Crabcake was solid: sweet crab, no filler. Easy to make a meal from wide variety of generous and interesting sides. Prices kind too.“

“I went to Waffle House after waiting for a half hour at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered the old timers breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy, after a significant wait the waitress brought the eggs and said it would be a little bit longer for the Biscuits and Gravy, the eggs were long past cold when she came out again telling me me they were out of biscuits and offered toast so without eating anything I paid my bill I walked out. Now back to the waffle House. I was served my desired B&G breakfast, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and it was within five minutes. So why only 4 Stars? The W.H. is a very loud environment, their wait staff think nothing of yelling back and forth. The food is delicious and great value. But it would be nice with a modicum of decorum.“

“My family ate here last night. Everything was exceptional. All of the staff were super friendly. I had Chicken Patia. I love the mango sauce and will need to go back asap to get it again. My husband had Lamb Patia (he gets it hot and was sweating lol) and enjoyed it very much. My son got the butter chicken, which is absolutely delicious. If you don’t know what to get, I recommend starting with this dish. My 6 year old daughter isn’t keen on experimenting yet, but she did like the tandoori chicken and lots of the basmati rice. You have to get naan bread (I recommend the garlic one). Definitely will return here!“

““Steak dinner” - ~9 Oz ribeye, beans and rice, fries. Great home style meal. Everything’s made to order, so it did take a little while for the food to come out. (Guessing 20-25 minutes; we weren’t in a rush, so I wasn’t tightly tracking.)Food came out perfect. It was warm without being broiling. The steak was medium-well, evenly cooked, and not the least bit dry, to my pleasant surprise. It kicked the keester of anything I ever got at Outback. Beans, rice, and fries all precisely what one would expect in a home-style meal. All of it was exactly right — neither overdone nor underdone. My wife also tried their collard greens, which were also spot-on. Not pictured because they didn’t last long. ? 10/10 for execution.All in with a soda was $23.50 before tip. CASH ONLY (for now?); they weren’t taking cards when we were there. The on-site ATM has a $3 fee. They had a new cash register in a box on the bar, so perhaps this is changing.The proprietor is a nice lady and chatted with us a bit, seated out front on the patio enjoying the weather. The restaurant itself is a small, low-key converted store of a restaurant, with a limited menu of home-style soul food. Nothing more, nothing less. If that sounds good to you, I’d say give it a shot. “I have liven in India and can truly tell you that this is authentic Indian cuisine. I find the taste much higher than any Indian restaurants in Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C. This is the best Indian food you will find anywhere within 75 miles. Try it and you will see that the food here is way above others in flavor.“

Kelly went out of her way to make sure that each of us had a great time tasting the various wines that JC offered. We arrived to a table set up for our party. Kelly brought out our charcuterie boards. Then she began serving with an explanation about the making of each wine as well as the taste characteristics that we could expect. “We had a rehearsal dinner at the Village Square 4/12/2024. We had 48 guests and they accommodated us perfectly. I worked with Courtney to customize/limit the menu. She was so helpful the food was fantastic! They had plenty of staff that accommodated everyone, they were flexible and allowed me to bring in my dessert to stay within budget, set it up, displayed it and cleaned. All of our guests were so impressed with the quality of food and the staff. We had the shrimp and grits, filet, and chicken. They also added pasta primavera for the vegetarians. They were all delicious, but they knocked the filet out of the park definitely work the extra money. “You wont find another diner like it. The grill is right in front of the counters so you get to watch as they make and prep your food. The employees have always been so kind. My grandma and I used to come here together but now when I'm in town I pick up our biscuits and sausage gravy to go. Best gravy in the VA, WV and even NYC (yes I've checked) area.“

It would be great for take out, and also has a few small tables for dining in.The restaurant itself has the appearance of Chinese fast food, but the food quality is better than regular fast food Chinese. It appears to be all made to order rather than pre-made dishes sitting in chafing dishes, like at Panda.The vegetables in our meals tasted and looked fresh and crisp, not frozen. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The food was not overly greasy either.There are several vegetarian options available, in addition to meat options. The food options were plenty and the staff worked hard to keep everything refilled quickly. The table server was so pleasant and attentive, and kept our table cleared and drinks refilled continuously. The buffet was clean, for the most part, considering how many people were at the counter at any given time. The food itself was good - salty, as expected, but the BBQ pulled pork and mashed potatoes were both my favorites. There were also so many dessert options, which was surprising. The beer is really good with a diversity of flavor profiles and types. You'll find something you like.A pro tip here is that this is a great space to grab a couple friends, pickup a takeout pizza, and come hang out for a small get-together. We've done that a couple times (even for a birthday party), and it's a hit.“

“I was staying at the hotel next door last week. Being so close, It would have to really suck for me not to eat there. That being said; it was pretty good. I would drive there if I had to. The bar was nice and the food was good. I had the cheesesteak, ribs, and a burger (different nights). The service at the bar was good and the beer selection was great too.
