“We stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse after a show at Shenandoah Summer Theater. We went as a group. Longhorn handled or group magnificently. We were seated promptly (of course, we had reserved seats) and or good was served quickly. And, as usual, of food was properly prepared and warm. Drinks were quickly served and topped off appropriately.

“I’ve been a regular customer at Hideaway for years now. As someone with severe dietary restrictions, they’ve always made me feel safe with what I eat and I’ve had no negative reactions from my food. The people who work there are some of the friendliest people in existence. The place as a whole feels safe and inviting. I ordered a menudo, birria tacos, a al pastor torta, and a tamale in one sitting so I can try everything to see if I found good mexican food. I did. This place not only served the best authentic mexican food, but the staff and cleanliness was also great. Spoke to the owner and asked if he would be interested in catering my daughters quinceanera and he did. That was on the 31st of Aug, 2024. He took care of everything so that my wife and I could just enjoy and try to make our daughter feel like she was in top of the world. “T bones is a hidden very underestimated GEM. It's a small quaint place with friendly service. The foods great for a quick bite or lunch. After work stop in for appetizers and a beer or cocktails with friends. It's not a fancy place but a comfortable low key place!“

“We came to this restaurant by a friend and the first time we try them we fell I love with the tacos they are freshly made and I love the pastor ones we drive 45 min for this tacos they are kinda pricy but they are worthy to my husband and I ?“

“Really good food for a strip mall takeout place. Clean bathroom, clean facility, Nice staff, extensive menu with some items that I really like to try. I went out of my way to stop here for the crispy spicy beef. This is a dish I learned to love in Washington DC but it is hard to find outside that area. I asked for extra spicy, I didn't get that. I enjoyed the dish but my input to the chef would be call this version general tso beef. Larger chunks of heavily breaded crispy fried beef. In a mildly sweet mildly spicy sauce. Served with broccoli and rice. Just like general tso. The dish I was searching for which you can find in the DC area or smaller's long strips of Julienne beef mildly coated and crispy. Then stir fried in a SPICY sweet sauce with strips of carrot and celery Stir fried with the beef. Looking at the rest of the menu I was impressed, particularly with things like ho fun. I wish I lived nearby to try more of their food. The crispy beef I got I enjoyed quite a bit although to me it was more like orange beef without the orange or general tso beef. I would definitely eat here again. I posted a picture of the crispy beef I received at this restaurant, beside a picture of what it looks like if you get it in Washington DC. You can see the differences. But the real difference is spice level and sauce.“

“Great food on the Winchester walking mall. Service is consistently exceptional. Make sure to look for the daily special before you go in. We recently had the 1/2 French Dip sandwich with salad. My wife had the seasonal salad with strawberries and I had the house salad with pickled red onion - both were fabulous on a hot late spring day. And the French Dip can't be beaten! Also, one of the few places that serves Kilkenny on tap (and knows how to pour it and a Guinness!). I also enjoy their music selection and the sound system is just right, so you can have a great conversation while enjoying the music.“

“Most of my orders are usually takeout and I don’t usually order a lot. Last couple of times I ordered the calzone special on Tuesdays and I order on my way home from work and it’s always ready when I stop and get it. It’s always fresh and I’ve never had an issue with the order being wrong.“

“Delicious pupusas! Very fresh and generous sized portions. Not much to look at from the outside, in fact I've driven passed it forever without even noticing it was there. Don't let that fool you, however. Very friendly inside and these guys can cook! No chips and salsa offered but we didn't need it. We tried a little of everything as you can order most of the menu items a la cart. I'd say the tacos and pupsas are the stars of the show. We'll definitely be back for more.“

“Stopped in Sunday morning, June 21 - Fathers Day - for brunch with family. We called ahead to confirm small dogs are allowed on the patio and checked inside when we arrived. Were told open seating outside so we seated ourselves. We saw a server waiting on several tables but she never looked at or acknowledged us.

After about 15 minutes she did come over to take our drink orders. Drinks took awhile to come out and were delivered by a different server. She advised us there was a 40 minute wait on food and said we should put our orders in ASAP.

Food was great, my wife got the steak and cheese omelette while I opted for the blueberry waffle special. Drinks were water, V8 and unsweetened ice tea. Food was great, however, no one checked on us for refills.

I'll try again next time we're in Winchester.“
