“CK Lounge is the place to be in Bowie!! I came into CK Lounge for happy hour today. The bartender, Ghost, served me a phenomenal smoked Old Fashioned that set the tone perfectly. He walked me through the menu which has a wide variety of Afro fusion options. He suggested the suya and jollof rice and it was a hit!! I will definitely be returning.“

“Mannnnnn!! This place was ?, it's a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it last Thursday and they had a live band. Wow, she covered Erykah Badu and I've never in my life heard anyone cover Badu, it was fantastic!! The owner and staff was great and the food was delicious. No,it's not a restaurant but they had a pop up chef selling Dinners...amazing food! Now let's talk about the drinks....the bartender was enjoyable, kind and she understood what I needed!!! We had an incredible time and will be going back Thursday...don't let the appearance fool you, very quaint with good energy!!“

“The best broth in the area, possibly the state. I love the generous portion sizes on the meat whether you order delivery or sit down inside. The staff is quite attentive and very friendly every time I visit.

There's a convenient hand washing station near the back wall which I find very thoughtful.

I highly recommend stopping here if you are passing through or just in town. The atmosphere is very laid back and the tables have ample spacing to keep everyone slurping in peace 😁“
