“I stopped by Pupuseria El Buen Sabor earlier this week and can honestly say that I have never been to a more transparent and authentic pupuseria in the DMV. Ileana and her crew make the pupusas right in front of you from scratch, and are friendly and conversive.

The variety of flavors and options for pupusas alone puts most other restaurants to shame, pair that with quality and you've got a winning combination.

“I visited Angel’s Restaurant once and had to come back the next week! The papusa tacos are AMAZING!! 10000/10🔥🔥🔥 We got the chicken and steak papusas with horchata on the side. Their fried chicken is also really good. Horchata is very good too! They mostly have a 15-20 min wait time for you food but that’s normal.“

“A taqueria that is a hidden gem in this part of MD. I decided to try this spot based on the recommendation of local friend and was blown away by the quality of the food. The quality is on point and gives you that home made sensation and love. The taco portions are huge, way bigger than what you would typically expect.
This place is more of your hole in the wall kind of spot that serves amazing food. If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience some amazing Mexican food, give this place a try. Service is meh and decor is ok but the food makes up for it.“

I had two incredible pupusas (based on past experience and my own cooking) with what looks to be homemade curtido and a chicken tamale (tamal de gallina) at Pupuseria La Familiar in College Park. $7 for all this. Definitely five stars. Happy to order before the lunch rush, lol.“
