“The order took about 15 minutes to complete. A little long, but the good came out for and fresh! Chicken was cooked just right, and the sauces were great. The chicken sandwich was solid and a good buy but the burrito was mainly rice and was lacking flavor. The prices are also pretty steep, expect to pay over $20 for just a sandwich and a side before a drink. An entree alone will run you close to $20, which is a high price to pay for just a sandwich, burrito, tenders, etc. WooBoi is worth trying but it won’t be a viable frequent option for many due to the cost of goods.“

“If you look in the urban dictionary for great “hole in the wall restaurant,” this is it! My wife and I just moved to the area and honestly have not found many restaurants that we would go back to. Family kebob our new go to for Indian.This is a small place with a few table and chairs and a small parking lot (free). The employees are extremely nice, talkative, and provided excellent service. The food was made to order and piping hot and fresh.My wife and I had: lamb kebob, lamb curry, and a side of their spinach. The spinach was amazing. I like that it is tasty but doesn’t have cream, which is typical. Very good.The lamb kebob is a huge serving and was the best dish there that we had. Followed by the lamb curry, which was also top-notch. I also liked their chickpea casserole. I would give the food a 10 out of 10.I would recommend maybe sprucing up the inside a little bit so that it would be more accommodating to people eating in, but this is definitely our go to moving forward and great for takeout.We paid about 47 bucks with a tip and had significantly leftovers. “I got the chance to visit dat jerk with my father recently. I gave him the option going to silver diner or dat jerk. It took a sec for us to get our bearings but we were overall pleased with the options we ordered. The restaurant was very clean and had large portions of food which I believe matched the cost of food. I loved the roti. The wrap itself complimented the flavors inside. I opted to get the sauce on the side which was not the play since it wasn’t enough. Definitely won’t make that mistake again. They had a friendly staff that helped to guide us through the menu. I definitely look forward to going back.“

“Everything was really good, we got wings and red snapper (I ordered catfish but didn’t understand me) the wings were fresh and crispy, I got lemon pepper wet and the fried rice was great. There’s a bit of a language barrier, they mostly speak Spanish, but other than that 10/10“

“Best Peruvian chicken, everything else is just charbroil chicken. Nothing compares to the flavor. The only dislike I have is that the beans count as a side, and rice counts as another side. Rice and bean should be a single side, in my opinion. What do guys think? Other than that, it would've been a 5 star rating.“

“I came here for lunch one day. There was no line to order it. The staff were friendly and my food came out very quickly. I ordered a number one combo with fries and a diet lemonade. “Just wanted to address something.I come here for a lot of orders for customers. I'll say 98.9% atmosphere is fantastic cheery etc usually a nice vibe. But for the first time I simply asked for a straw for the customer which was right behind next to the drinks behind the counter and it's usually given to me without asking from behind the counter.

The first time I asked for one, she almost grabbed one then walked away and but turned around said you can grab one from over there merely a few steps away it was not a huge effort.
As for the rest of the staff keep doing a great job!!! She was the short one with glasses. Don't know if she's having a bad day or moment but as we were taught whatever is bothering you if it's not work related you leave it outside.“

“I was new to the area and just finished a job and was extremely hungry. After scrolling around I found a place that had some food I recognized. Little did I know it would be one of the best plates I’ve had EVER! I had the chicken wings with O.G. Hot Sauce. OMG!!! The crispy breading. The flavor. The tender meat. I couldn’t stop licking my fingers. The waffle fries were well seasoned and fresh. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. “I recently ordered through Postmates from this location for delivery. I got the spring rolls, mango sticky rice, and curry puffs.

The spring rolls were really good, they had I think glass noodles along with the veggies inside. They are quite small so they give you 4 of them.

The curry puffs are an item I have gotten from multiple restaurants and theirs were on the small size but they give you 3 instead of the usual 2. They were a bunch more spicy compared to others and it was too spicy for my liking. This is the only time I haven't finished an order of curry puffs due to taste. The cucumber-vinegar sauce also wasn't very good. It wasn't vinegary enough, basically tasted watered down and this is a crucial part of the dish, so I was a bit disappointed.

The mango stick rice was incredibly good! The mango was perfectly fresh and ripe! They give you a decent portion of sticky rice with coconut and such on top. If for no other reason I'll be ordering from them again just to get more of this and to try other dishes!

A suggestion: one thing that would improve my experience and enjoyment is if the store had a sweet plum type sauce that wasn't spicy that was made in the restaurant with good natural ingredients. Many of the prepackaged sauces have ingredients I'm unable to eat due to food allergies. I would pay more, and order more often if I really liked the sauce. One example in the market is Chipotle makes their Polynesian sauce that I buy in the large bottles because it's the only sweet and sour type sauce I can eat and use it for all stores nuggets because they make it themselves without all the artificial ingredients. I also order coconut shrimp from red lobster as opposed to other places because I love their pina colada sauce.... just a thought. There are a lot of us who can't eat the artificial stuff. Msg is another one that commonly is a problem for those with migraine and it would be great if you had a good alternative. I think restaurants underestimate the value of a good sauce from scratch.“

“Chicken is great me and my friend ordered from here he got the 3pc with fries they forgot the fries tried calling the store but no answer so I took off a star, also the quencher was delicious but the cup size was to small make it bigger please 🙏🏽 I got the spaghetti with a 2pcs the spaghetti was on the sweet side but not to bad service was exceptional I believe our cashier was kelmira she was great other than that we would really like the fries they forgot our order came up to $38 thank you“

“This location without a doubt is the best Nandos location I've had the absolute pleasure of visiting during my time in DC. I visited DC over a year ago, and tried Nandos for the very first time and was absolutely blown away by the quality, affordability, and the options available, it was so good in fact, that my friends and I visited this location MULTIPLE times in a single weekend.

The atmosphere here is lovely, and everyone working here is friendly and genuinely cares about maintaining a well running and consistent establishment, the managers seem to be on duty and working just as much as every other employee and that is how it should be at a place like this in my mind.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to DC and was pleasantly surprised that this Nandos was just as good as I remembered it being a year ago, and I hope that it continues to be a staple of my DC visits in the future (we went more than once again and I have zero regrets). “Spicebird is a take-out place inside Makan. Ordered the half chicken with two sides - chicken n wood ear mushroom and the cold noodles. Additional two sides of the crispy potato and fried rice. Although all 4 were great, I loved the chicken n friend rice most. $18 for the half chicken and two sides is a great value meal and the ingredients were fresh! Loved it
