“Outstanding place, which we plan on frequenting. Huge line of folks (always a good sign), though the team kept up well with the lunch crunch. Sparklingly clean throughout the building. Warm, attentive staff. Most importantly, flawless food. We got a whole chicken with four sides, each of which were spot-on. Even my kids who don't like rice and beans were impressed with that side. I don't typically eat chicken skin, but couldn't help munching on some of that marinated, crunchy goodness. We've eaten in many Peruvian chicken joints, and this ranks among the best.“

“The food is great. Even the mild has a kick so I cannot imagine how hot the hottest one is. Service was fast. The reason I gave this a four is because an employee was on his break and taking up an entire large table with the only cushion bench seats. We had to sit at a two top because he was taking up a large table alone and for the entire 45 min we were there. This was on a Saturday night at 6 pm. So a peak time and it was full, half way through we were able to put two two tops together when someone left. They need to teach their employees to allow paying customers to sit in their seats.“

“I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

“I recently had an amazing experience at Chick-Fil-A in La Plata, Maryland, and I can't wait to share my 5-star review! From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was impressed by the extremely fast service. The staff was incredibly efficient and my order was made to perfection.

Not only was the service exceptional, the dining room was also extremely clean. It was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining a spotless environment for their customers. I felt comfortable and at ease while enjoying my meal.

What truly stood out to me was the welcoming and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great dining experience. They were friendly, approachable, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had.

“The lady at the cashier today was so helpful and kind, the chicken here was super fresh and in my opinion some of the best I’ve had in the Mount Vernon area. Even better than Su Pollo! Whole chicken with 2 sides and a salad came to about $30. I only wanted dark meat for the whole chicken and the cashier made it happen and I’m grateful for that

The yucca was super fresh and wasn’t the frozen stuff that other places have. Yucca is a must try here!“

“Ok, I loved me so good fried chicken. Popeyes is my fav but Safeway Fried chicken is running a close 2nd. But, 1st I have to praise Kiana the manager, Alexis and this cutie brown dude w/ short Locs/Braids because they are kind, professional and they are very, very helpful. Kiana and Alexis always help me with my online order b/c the Popeyes app doesn’t let you make in store options. As we know certain Popeyes in the Charles county area (Waldorf) have the rudest customer service.. But Laplata folks are cool.. Order the chicken when it has just been made or wait for them to drop a batch.. chicken that’s been sitting under the heat lamp doesn’t taste good, lol“

“Husband and I stopped by for lunch. There was a wait for chicken tenders but we weren't in any rush. Staff was super friendly and apologetic, making sure to keep us posted on the status of our order. We love Popeyes, but haven't had much luck with service at other locations. So this was a pleasant experience and we will return here.“

“I'm partial to chicken, especially Peruvian or south American roasted chicken. This place has not disappointed me. But I stick to the chicken here. Not the enchilada place. The pupusas are good too, so is the chicken burrito. The key is chicken. Like the hot sauce.“
