“My family goes there often. Today, I had the breakfast burrito, which was delicious. The homemade pickled jalapeños are really delicious. My daughter had chicken fingers,which were also quite good. We got tater tots with both entrees. Tater tots are good anytime, anywhere. We left with a cookie each. My peanut butter cookie was delicious, and my daughters Smores cookie got rave reviews as well. Will be going back soon.“
“This was our first time coming in and we really enjoyed our food. We got chicken and waffles, a classic crepe, and an egg and cheese crepe.The chicken was especially good!Staff was also super nice. There's a little coffee bar off to the side with sugar and different flavored creamers. I asked if they had just regular milk and they were able to give me some which was much appreciated.Definitely will be back.“

This place has been a staple in Mt Vernon for at least 15 yrs. I have never had a bad food experience here in all the years I've been patronizing this establishment. The food is especially good after a night out drinking. “This is one of the only things I missed about going into the office was coming here and getting a sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast with jelly and butter. This deli does what its needs to do its in a convenient location, its quick and the food is good. Cant ask for anything else“
“Rise fulfilled a catering order for my office this week. Everyone enjoyed the food so much. When I picked it up the food was hot, service was super friendly, and they threw in some butters and jams for the biscuits. Overall a great experience. Would definitely use for catering again!“

“The location is tightly situated when it comes to parking, but the food and service make up for any inconvenience. The greeter/register attendants were gracious. Our server was so friendly and jovial that our interaction was quite memorable. Unfortunately, I'm horrible with names, so I can't give him the most deserving shout-out. I am a picky eater and hate all grenery that is usually garnishing your meal. Our server must have relayed super specific instructions for the chef because everything I don't like was in little tin cups to the side. I truly enjoyed my meal thanks to him. “Excellent customer service. Arrived just after a very large group and employee apologized several times for needing to wait a little. Employee also offered to make us a unique off-menu sandwich of his own creation and it was delicious. Waffle grilled cheese was also very satisfying. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.“
“From the door to when we received the check the service was outstanding. The entire staff was so pleasant. The food was amazing and came out so fast and during our visit there was a computer issue with processing credit payments and the waitress kept checking in and updating us and the manager came in (even though it was clearly not her shift) and helped her team reboot the system. Mind you this is all at 1am in the morning! Literally such great management and great staffing. I would definitely come back and recommend this location.“
