“It's one of my favorite spots. It is located in Seabrook in a small shopping center with 7-11, CVS and other small carryout restaurants. There is plenty of parking with mutiple entrances and exits. The staff is super and the food is delicious.“

“Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.

I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.

I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!

“This beat some of the NY style slices I had even in New York. Just the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to toppings. Perfectly sized pepperoni cups. A gorgeous toasty feeling to the freshly heated slice. Started with 3 slices between 2 people and essentially ended up eating a whole pie. Staff are amazing, so warm and friendly. Great brews on tap and a few salads and sides on the menu to go with the pies. Can’t wait to come back“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Minya’s, and it was fantastic! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings fresh, and the cheese melted just right. Whether you’re a fan of classic pizza or looking for something more creative, they have a wide variety of options to choose from. My favorite is definitely the Derho pizza, love the Eritrean fusion of it all!

The service was fast and friendly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both a casual meal or a night out with friends.

Highly recommend Minya’s if you’re craving some of the best pizza in town! I’ll definitely be coming back.

While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. “Food was great as always, but would not recommend an 8pm or later reservation. The server clearly was ready to go home, despite the restaurant offering reservations at this time, and the bar closed at 8:30 pm. The entire experience with service was rough — rushed to order and told we couldn't have another drink unless it was ordered on delivery of the first, to go boxes thrown on the table without asking for them, etc. Love Emmy Squared and the food, and am not sure if this was a bad night but it was jarring to have a reservation and be treated like we walked in to a restaurant as it was closing. If the bar closes at 8:30 and servers are going to rush tables, it's best not to offer that reservation time.“

“Hot take — More restaurants need to be deaf-owned. I can't stand going to a restaurant and having to scream at the person next to me to have a conversation. Surprisingly, there was still music, but they're not blasting it.

The pizza and wine were delicious and paired great with each other! You're not going there for the finest of either, but they're also not cutting corners. We ordered a second margherita pizza immediately after ordering the first one.

Our server was Esmerelda and she was patient with my slow caveman-quality ASL. I was able to mention that it was my friend's birthday and with an ID confirmation, the staff got together and signed "happy birthday," which was a nice and sweet surprise!

I would totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a light meal without breaking the bank. No need to be intimidated by the language barrier either. You can easily point at what you want, but if you want to make more of an effort, you can scan the QR codes at the table to view animated GIFs of the staff signing things you might request like, "beer", "wine", or "parmesean cheese" — the essentials!“

“I've had the Addis Ababa pizza and the egg and veggie breakfast sandwich, and both are really really delicious! If you're just visiting the area and aren't sure if you'll come more than once, you absolutely have to get one of the Ethiopian pizzas, you're not getting that combination of flavors maybe anywhere else. The price of the Ethiopian pizzas is fair because of the amount of toppings that go on them and how filling they are. Even on an empty stomach I get stuffed from three slices of the Addis Ababa and have to save the rest for later. The service has also been very friendly every time I've been, just a great family-run small business!“

Service was incredible, and the atmosphere was surprisingly casual. Some particularly strong mushroom options and one oyster on offer for those wanting it. Maybe bc it was winter, I found the menu very homey and hardy without an over reliance on showmanship or crazy techniques and processes - at least in comparison to a lot of modern fine dining.“

I'm not sure how representative the Detroit square slice is because I've never had that before but the plain slice is really good and I tried their barbecue collaboration with a local barbecue restaurant, Federalist pig...Which is also good.“

“First and foremost, be prepared to spend money if you come here. My bill was nearly $90 for just me. But, I had the best fried pickles I've ever had, a delicious chicken cordon blue grilled cheese sandwich, and many different craft brews which were all fantastic. The fruit beer in my pic is one of the best beers I've ever had. I love the self-pour, self-order system, but it's just pricey. Still, the whole experience was 5 stars for me!“

“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“
