“I gave been to playa bowl over 10 times and my experience today was not good. The staff today was not very welcoming. If the owners were there today when I went they sure were not friendly. I told the cashier no coconuts and they put some in, then she says you want a lid and I said well yea, it’s to go. She didn’t even put them in a bag. I always buy the Nutella one and I always buy 2. All the other times I had no problems great staff and friendly.“

“Great morning coffee spot! The atmosphere was very chilled. There were two couples on a date and something working in the corner. The soft music made me want to stay and the Açaí bowl was so refreshing and delicious! The staff mad an extra fruit toast that they offered me before I left and OMG! I will be going back tomorrow morning. I can't believe I've missed this place. It's right beside the OTHER place that is similar but I'm glad I came in here! Black owned, multi culturally operated and it just feels like warmth!“

“This used to be my favorite. I came in last Friday bought a 32 oz smoothie. I do love the smoothies and chocolate covered almonds. They no longer have styrofoam cups which is a great disappointment. B4 you even get 20 mins away anything is melted in those plastic cups. I even tried to refreeze it like I always do. But it was mostly sweet juice by the time I got home. Which means I wasted my money. I need a cup that works please smoothie king! I still recommend because this bothers me and may not bother others.“

“I got an espresso machine for christmas and it takes very specific beans. I was asking Kira about which bean would be best, and they were so helpful. They called the boss and got all the info I needed. I told them I didn’t want to be any trouble, but they insisted and were so accommodating.
The coffee was also bomb, and came out quickly. I got the salted caramel cold brew which I highly recommend“
“An employee who thinks from the customer’s perspective and focuses on meeting their needs is a good employee—someone who thinks like a business owner. I wanted to order my favorite drink( Kale-ribbean Breeze) , which used to be on the menu but is no longer available. I explained what I wanted to the employee. He didn’t reject my request but instead asked me to give him a minute to check something. After a minute, he came back and told me he could make it. It made my day.Thank you“

“The best smoothies there are, well until someone says otherwise and shows me better ones than this one, every time I go to the gym I go for one here because they are loaded with fruits and protein. If so, take your favorite, mine is the gladiator. This Recharge my energy and I'm ready to start the day happy and positive.“

“Amazing location, I got the Strawberry Milk Tea and it was some of the best I've had from any location. I'm not a boba connoisseur, but I definitely know quality! It's located in a hot spot in Ellicot City. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“

“The thumbnail photo is misleading. They do not have a drive through. The building is different than in the photos. This is important to know if you have sleeping children in the car and can’t leave them.
Parking: Parking is a typical Maryland parking lot. The spaces are too small for anything larger than a compact car/hybrid. Enjoy squeezing your way out of any family-size vehicle.“

“I liked TKK very much. Their chicken is same as in Taiwan and very juicy. There are many people in NYC like it. When I arrived TKK in NYC, there are A LOT people here. Finally, the location is very good. When you arrive 23 street subway station, just cross road and walk for 1 min. You will arrive TKK.“

“I had the taro milk tea and the special bubble milk tea, 30% sweet, extra ice. Both of the drinks were absolutely incredible! They use mini boba, which I haven’t seen before but loved. The tea is amazing and, in my opinion, much better than other places in the area with higher ratings (tiger sugar, etc). I will absolutely be going back and I hope you do too!“

Immediately had a good feeling when walking in the door and it was only improved after meeting the owner and trying the food and juice I got! I am an avid smoothie/smoothie bowl girl and this place did not disappoint!! Head in to get some really yummy and nourishing food :)“
